played 2/17 twilight. pro shop seemed disorganized but got me out a little early. tee boxes were good; lush and even with little divots. fairways were good; lush and little divots. greens were great; smooth roll and fast with little ball marks. bunkers were good, almost always raked with fluffy sand. pace of play was good, maybe 4.5 hrs. will definitely patron again.

Course in good condition and little wind. Had a great time with the threesum they put me with, thanks. Paid $59.00 with Golf Now (good deal).

Played Saturday morning, 12/26/09, on a cold cloudy day, but at least we didn't get any significant wind. Played here last month and enjoyed it, so returned and wasn't disappointed. Very good conditions on a fun, relaxed course with interesting elevation changes, some challenging shots, tricky fast greens. Pace could have been better at 5+ hours but we didn't seem to be waiting very much. Fairways were green with fairly tight lies, benign rough, firm fast greens without too many ball marks, good quality sand. Saw cart girl 6-8 times during round, and snack bar at clubhouse has a great breakfast burrito. Recommended.

THE ONLY COMPLAIN IS IF YOU MISS THE GREENS LEFT OR RIGHT GRASS IS PATCHY THINK GRASS AND SHORT DRY GRASS. OVER ALL A GREAT COURSE FOR THE MONEY

Played in a tournament on a warm, sunny Saturday morning, 11/7/09. Previous comments have mentioned a lot of wind, but we caught the course on a pretty calm day and wind never really figured into club selection. This is a Ted Robinson course in a housing development, and I expected a flat resort-style course with a low degree of difficulty. Was pleasantly surprised to find an attractively landscaped, visually pleasing and challenging layout. Not sure if it was the mild temperature or course maintenance, but the course was fairly wet to start the day and you didn't get much roll in the fairways. The fairly large greens were firm, accepted shots well, and rolled at fairly quick sped, especially downhill, with speeds increasing as the day went on and the greens dried out. Fairways were in good shape, and rough was generally pretty benign. The interesting thing about Sierra Lakes is the fairly substantial elevation changes throughout the course and on some holes. Many tees were elevated and played down to fairways and then back up to elevated greens. Many of the greens had fairly substantial slopes, but there was no severe tiering. Water was in play on several holes on the front side but no water on the back. Traps were in good shape. Cart girl seemed to come by every other hole, and our tourney got a hot dog lunch included. Very good value for a fun, challenging round. Recommended.

I like this course, great conditions. Smooth, fast greens, well kept fairways and teeboxes, nice design. Is it ever not windy here though?

This course is fun, wide/open fairways and big greens. It has some fun holes that test your ability and some easy ones but overall this course is fun. It can be overpriced at times, I usually only play this course when there are great deal on Golfnow, usually only during the week. Pace of play is great during the week. I also love the staff, if you ever need lessons go talk to Ben! He has taught, my brother and his wife as well as my girlfriend and I the game of golf.

Played Sierra Lakes on Saturday 11 July, early. Still a long round of golf 4 hours and 40 minutes. No marshall or player assistant. Sand traps were hard and not raked. Greens were very disappointing. Should be excellent and would be except for the numerous ball divits. Needs attention. The beverage cart person was friendly and came by frequently.
