Pretty good shape for time of year, greens fast and not as many ball marks as before. definitly worth the Donovan daily rate, maybe not rack rate.

Course was in really good shape, tee boxes and bunkers were near perfect. Fairways were a little muddy in some places but overall very good. Greens were mostly in very good shape hard and fast. In these conditions the course plays tougher than its slope, they had several pins tucked in to corners making them near impossible to access.

Played on Monday. Course was in great shape, if only my game was. Shot my handicap but didn't put very well. Some tricky greens.

Good day for a Practice Round, wind blowing, blew away our scorecards while we were putting out on the 7th hole, so we quit keeping score. Very few die hards were out, no one ahead of us, a 2-some came up on us at the 3rd hole so we let them play through, we were not in any hurry. a 3-some came into view behind us about 2 holes back when we reached the 15th, played in 3 1/2 hrs.

The Good, Bad, and Ugly.
Good - Course was in very nice shape. Everything was green and lush.
Bad - Many divots not filled in, lots of old and new ball marks on the greens, they were firm and fast. Repaired our own, and what was in the line of play.
Ugly - Wind was blowing 25-30 mph with gusts somewhere in the 40-50 mph range. Shots into the wind required 2 clubs up or more, shots with the wind 2 clubs less. On 18th my PW went beyond the hole and stopped on back fringe. Had a 6-7 ft putt into the wind, struck it solid but too strong, went 2-3 ft past the hole, wind caught it and rolled it back into the cup. Golf God saved me with a bogey.

Havent been here for awhile, forgot how much fun it is. It is an EASY track, but conditions are very nice. Greens are as usual great, but, ball marks everywhere. We tired of repairing soooo fixed the ones in our way. Staff was very professional, I rated this place as great, with reservations. If you are looking for a test, it isnt here. If you are looking for a nice day on the Links this is just the place. Bunkers are a bit soft for my taste, so I stayed out of them after the 1st one. A fun day. good service. My only gripe is this is supposed to be a medium upscale facility, seemed weird they were letting jeans and tee shirts out. We will be back, but not real soon.

The course is in very could shape. The fairways are excellent and open off the tee. The rough was decent and thick in spots. Tee boxes were good. The green side bunker I was in had good fluffy sand and the fairway bunker I was in had a more coarse and compacted sand. The greens were fast but fair and rolled well despite the ball marks. The greens are firm so allow for shots to release to the hole and try not to short side yourself. The staff is friendly. Teed off at 8:05 on Monday and finished at 11:45 (GREAT).

I played this course for the first time on Saturday, November 23rd. I enjoyed it. It's pretty wide open, not real hard to find a fairway. We had an early tee time so it was best not to be in the rough as it was really sticky and lush and just ate up the clubhead. My favorite part was how fast the greens were. I love fast greens. For that alone I'd love to go back and play.

Course was in great condition. Greens were a bit rough, but all in all the course was very pleasant to play.
