Played this course last weekend, 1/24/2009. Overall the course is a dog track and not a really interesting layout, but I walked on as a two-some with a buddy, waited only 20 minutes and was able to get on for $23 to walk. What I love about the course is the price, its walker friendly, and its a great beginner course so its pretty chill. The challenge in the course is its length since its fairly long. I highly recommend this course for beginners or +25 handicaps as its fairly straight, wide open, and a very laid back atmosphere. You won't find snobs at this course so hackers come on out!

Fun to play here, yet the course can use some work. Speed is pretty slow, and many 5somes around.

Tee boxes are full of divots but there is enough room to put down your tee.

Tee boxes are full of divots but there is enough room to put down your tee.

Fairways can use a little work. Rough is off and on, either good thick grass, or dirt and pebbles.

Sand traps have hard sand, hard to hit up dirt, lots of skulling to be done here.

Greens are fast and hard.

Course is different right now on 2 holes. I hole is shorter than listed, and another that is usually a par 5 is now a shorter par 4.

No cart girls at all, but the food shack has hot dogs, snacks, and drinks for reasonable prices.

can't complain too much for $19.00 walking on sunday AM. it was a bit slow especially the first 3 holes (short par 4's and par 3). i wish there was sand in the traps and not dirt, really have to hit d... Continue »

can't complain too much for $19.00 walking on sunday AM. it was a bit slow especially the first 3 holes (short par 4's and par 3). i wish there was sand in the traps and not dirt, really have to hit down to get the ball out. overall i like the place and it's 5 minutes from my house. on weekends, get out before 8AM or after 12PM. playing again on friday!

Pretty Classy looking course.
Huge 18 hole course with lots of hazards, may it be typical sand traps, or huge ditches and holes in the ground that go down about 30 feet. It will take usually less than 4 hours to finish, as it isn't too crowded typically. Long course and you will be tired by the end of the day.

PLayed last Wednesday with my son. Course is in best shape that I have seen in years! They are doing work on a few holes on front 9. Holes # 6 and 7. They added a couple fairway bunkers on the left, and looks like they are moving the tee box. On 7 they are repairing and moving the tee box over some. Fairways were green for once, greens best I have seen since they redid them what 15 years ago? Little on slow side but lot better. They are finally taking care of the place. Worth the money to get out and play.

fairways are nice, grns are smooth and roll nice (med.speed) bunkers need sand. Nothing special, but not bad either. Gets windy during the afternoons, so that adds some difficulty on this easy course.

I've played a lot of courses in the last 10 years and really like to comment on all of them. Once I've completed my 18 holes next week I will post my comment on this course. I'm really excited about playing here on a new course. I see price is very reasonable for an weekday 8 am tee time. I'm very happy so far.

The greens have potential, but need to be rolled! Fairways are awful! Traps thin, but consistant. However for $12.00, tough to be too critical and the staff was fantastic! I choose this course when I ... Continue »

I choose this course when I have only a little time and need to "fly" around in a couple hours. The staff is always accommodating.
