A true jewel in JC Resorts Crown. This course is like a potato chip, you can't just have one. Will worth playing several times, lots to learn, but only from the Black or Blue tees. A good test of skill from these tees.

Played this course for the 3rd time since it opened June 11. While it's still in great shape, and a great value, it's condition is rapidly deteriorating. More and more tee boxes are showing major divot damage; same thing in the fairways ... apparently no one takes the time to sand their divots. Even worse on the greens - they're firm, so most shots don't make a major ballmark which means most players aren't fixing the "dents" in the greens. With such great greens, it's a shame people don't fix their marks - there are "dimples" all over most of the greens. Too bad, because this is a phenomenal value in SD county. Play it soon before it gets worse!

Played it July 5th in 3 hours 40 minutes. Fun track, lots of elevation change, good bunkering both in fairways and around greens. Greens are FIRM but fair and roll true and quick. Once the construction is done it will be a beautiful course for all. The weekend rate might be a bit high, but I will definitely scrape up the money to play it again.
