Played Escena G.C. yesterday.
When I called to book tee-time, I asked if there is anything we needed to know because of overseeding season or anything else.
They said golf course is in great shape.
NOT TRUE.
Because of overseeding, we had to play cart path only.
No Range (net only). Greens very very slow. I think they were a 6 or 7.
For me, the course is not ready. I'll give them 6 to 12 months before they see us again. So many great courses to choose from in Palm Springs/Desert area.

Great layout and condition. Front is more open than the back.
Greens are firm...play them short!
Not for beginners. The 18th is just a great finishing hole.
Service not exceptional but above average.

Layout is great. Didn`t feel I was playing a new course. Fairways and greens were firm and fast. You got to play the greens short and let the ball roll to the hole.
One problem. I hate practice range mats!
Will go back anyway!

Played the course earlier this week. Great great course Fairways and greens are in excellent shape. Greens are very ondulated. Receptives and fast. The course make you think at all the time.
Will go back for sure.

Played the course today. A few tee boxes needs maintenance.
Fairways and greens great condition. Greens were very receptive but fast. Played in 3:45 min.
Definitely needs a new club house !!
