nice mountainous course. some hole are blind spots. the only bad thing is the beat up tee boxes. the rest are in very good condition. would play again.

Played on 4-4 early. Course in very good shape. For the money a better bet than Pala Mesa, both in north SD, save around $25. Both in great shape. Impressed with the bunkers around the greens. Greens very receptive to mid irons, but it was early and a little damp.

Played Meadow Lake Saturday, 10-14-06, in a tournament. Carts were ready, starter did a great job, and facility seemed prepared to handle the tourney.

Played Meadow Lake Saturday, 10-14-06, in a tournament. Carts were ready, starter did a great job, and facility seemed prepared to handle the tourney.

Having never played this course before, I was surprised to find so many funky carries, odd doglegs, and just plain weird hole layouts. The course was definitely designed to fit the terrain, which is hilly and oddly shaped. Might be fun with more experience/knowledge of the quirks. Tee boxes were not level on many holes. Fairways were often very narrow right at the landing areas, including a 440 yard par 4 where the landing area was 23 yards wide. Makes for lots of layups and odd shots from the rough. Some greens had been punched, some not. All in all, a very disconcerting round of golf on an odd golf course. I love golf as much as the next duffer out there, but this course took a lot of the fun out of my round, conditions aside.

Played on Jan 28th (Saturday), out at 9:45, finished at 2:45 (5 hrs). Had a slow group in front most of the day. Great layout, and a good mix of holes. Greens were in good condition, but can't say the same for the fairways. It was hard to tell where the ruff started and the fairways ended. Small range area to warm up in. Overall, a nice course to play, great views, will be back, but will wait until I hear improved fairway conditions.

Nice Course--Played there on Tuesday August 16. Nice views and kept in good condition. I enjoyed the front nine better than the back nine.

The fairways are in decent shape and the greens are in excellent shape, well worth the greens fee. Only 2 comments/complaints... the GPS on the golf carts is not accurate and varies from the fixed markers on the course by as much as 15 yards! You're better off looking for the 150 marker in the fairway. Also, some parts of a few of the fairways are so wet, soggy and muddy that they are unplayable. It must be sprinkler malfunctions because there hasn't been any rain in weeks. Still a great course for the money.

Owners have 'cleaned up' course significantly the past few years, including hole changes due to surrounding development, all for the best. This course has never looked better. If you haven't played the course in the last 2 years, give it a shot. You'll be in for a treat, plus their twilight starts at noon!
