I have to agree with the previous post about the Vineyard. Tee'd off at 630 a.m. Finished about 10:30 a.m but the course has gone downhill I used to book online tee times cause it was cheap and course was in great shape. Now there are patches on the greens. Bunkers are really wet. The rough looked like Torrey Pines rough during the Buick. Seems like the crew hasn't been cutting them for a while. The worst are the gnats that fly in you eyes/ears. They have a really big gnat problems. Every hole there's gnats. I would rather play Eagle Crest/Woods Walley than The Vineyard. If booking online decide on Eastlake is better.

played here for the first time using the san diego newspaper coupon. well worth the green fees. i have to say this is one of my favorite courses in san diego. great service and course was in good condition. true greens rolling pretty fast, tee boxes in great condition. it was pretty hot that day

played today course was in decent condition. the only complaint was the tee boxes. they need to be mowed and they were starting to mow the fairways. challenging course no real need to use the driver. target golf is the key.

played last thursday they are already setting up bleachers and press boxes for the buick. carts are only fairways can't go on the rough they are keeping it nice and long for the tourney. it was frustrating looking for balls in the rough. the greens didn't roll fast but course is looking nice for the buick.

played here today. got on at 4:00 and finished barely. it was pretty windy. some of the tee boxes were pretty hard. barely made a divot with my tee shots on the par 3s. alot of leaves on the green cause of the wind. other than that the greens were pretty decent got on for 13 bucks. not a bad deal

nice day to play golf today. The greens were slower than normal. rough a little higher than usual and fairways weren't rolling that much. basically they havent been cutting anything

played here today pretty windy for a nice day like this. Played Mission/Presido. The greens were ok alot of ball marks not fixed. Rolling pretty slow not really worth it fairways in decent condition. It seems like this course is waaaaaaaaaay too overpriced.

played today on a hot like hell day. It was worth the drive. This is one of best kept courses I have to say the greens are very true. Very fast although # 15,16 are by a trailer park. I really enjoyed this course

This course sucks. So much ground under repair. Not worth the drive and 43 dollars. Don't waste your day here.

This course is very challenging. Most holes demand a specific tee shot. Really enjoyed my day the greens a bit slow. Very tight course especially the front 9 par 3's. #2 looks longer than it plays. Hit a nice fade with my drive off the tee and had a pitching wedge left. 12th hole tee shot from the blues is a major difference from the white about a 40-60 difference. This is one of my favorite courses in San Diego. I saw the picture of Phil Mickelson at the course and asked the guy in the pro shop what did he shoot and the man said " Phil didn't tell anyone" so I'm assuming that's bad?

Thanks for the info. I'm playing there on Monday and wanted to see how it is. I heard of most the courses in San Diego, but not that one before. Sounds like the Augusta of San Diego or something. Have u played there before? If so, How is it narrow, wide, greens fast, slow?
