Played out here this morning. I booked on golf now and had a 6:00 tee time. When we got there, there was nobody even at the course. The proshop didn't even open until 6:00. This is the only course I've ever been there before the staff. That being said, the course was in ok condition for the price. There were a lot of less than stellar lies on the course and a few tee boxes need some TLC. The greens were in really good condition though. That in my opinion is the most important part though. They were not rolling too fast but they were smooth and true. As always I like the layout of this course and have fun playing it. For the price its a good value!

Played on 4/20 and the greens were aerated in the past day or so (with the smaller punches) and there was quite a bit of sand on the greens so putting was difficult. The greens should "heal" quickly because of the smaller punches. I would stay away for another 2 weeks. We went out at 8 AM and the pace of play was good, right at 4 hours. Quite a few bare spots in the fairways and rough. Very average course.

Played 1-2-11. Holiday busy & slow. Meadow lake is a fun and challenging layout. The course is in tuff winter conditions right now, but still fun to play. The fairway's are dormant with a few bare spots. The greens were bumpy & slow. Even though the conditions aren't great, I still enjoy this course & the area.

Played on 8/31 with a 3:30 PM tee time. The course was not busy - probably because it was pretty warm out - about 90, but had a good breeze going. The course is in great shape, the greens were almost all divot free. They were rolling at a nice pace - not real slow but not real fast - but expected considering the water needed at this time to of year to keep them pretty.

The fairways were not real thick but were in good shape. Tee boxes were in excellent shape.

I really like the layout of this course. No two holes are alike out here. There is even some holes with good views. The greens were also very nice without being fast. The fairways rough and bunkers are so-so. The tee boxes are not good. This is one course where the ok conditions do not take away the fun of golf here because of the great layout and variety of holes. The driving range is pretty awful, however.

Played on Sunday 3-13. We teed off around 9:00 am and flew through in about 4 1/2 hours. Having never played here before, did not really know what to expect. The first 2 holes will test your golf game as they are the 1 and 3 handicap holes on the course. the true test of this layout are the Greens. they are probably the smallest Greens I have played anywhere. To keep your approach shots on the Greens you must either hit the ball very high or try and run the ball up, obviously depending upon where the pin is. the rough was in so so shape, but the fairways, tees and Greens where very good. Very enjoyable round of Golf for 45.00 on a Sunday and 15.00 cart fee for a replay. Definitely a hidden gem among San Diego Golf courses. Also went to the Pala Casino after for Sunday Buffet, the best ever!

Played Fri July 30 2 oclock tee time. First time playing this course and I will be back! $19 with cart after 2! Got paired up with a local which helped a lot as there are quite a few blind tee shots and a few holes not blind but you cant see the green. Tee boxes were average, fairways, well, fair! Greens were in great shape, soft on approach and putting true at medium speed. A couple times I hit 4 hybrid or 5 wood into green and shots held. Not too many places to get into trouble mostly mature trees, if you hit straight off tee you should score well. Get out there before it gets hot! (If it ever does)

Very fun course to play with some difficult holes. The course condition is just ok but you really can't beat it for the money. Also plays pretty fast. Usually 4 hrs or less.
