Lots of trash and garbage around the course, layout was just avg. go play temecula creek it is way better..

RB Inn is ok. Nice near the clubhouse, friendly staff, and the ability to have fine dining. As for the golf course, I would rate it as average for layout and challenge. Greens were ok...but a little bumpy and inconsistent because it was punched/sanded a few weeks ago. Traps were pretty good...but a little inconsistent (some softer...some crusty. Even when you dig your feet in for a read...the area by the ball will be different than where your feet are). Challenge of the course...not that difficult. Yes...traps are nicely where the landing areas are and greenside bunkers...but the layout is rather wide/generous and rough isn't that difficult. Distance markers are not accurate (used laser to verify they are off)

Overall...I would say that if you are interested in a challenging golf course...this is average. If you want a leisurely easy going round might be slightly above average. Conditioning...slightly above ave.

If you haven't played here before, the layout is interesting, but there are only a few truly memorable holes. I wouldn't go out of my way to play here again, but it's not a bad course (especially if the conditions improve just a bit).

Conditions were somewhat better than other courses I played while in area. Greens rolled good and had good speed. Layout was ok would like to play when conditions were better

Nice to find a course where you can throw darts into soft greens - most courses are baked out from the heat in July, but not RBI. At least the greens are soft, anyway...

Well, I played here in January and posted that the course was in pretty good shape. Pumphrey posted in March that the course was looking a little rough. I played there 6/1/06 on a Thursday afternoon and I'm afraid to say the course hasn't gotten any better. The tee boxes were pretty chewed up, the greens were pretty pock marked, bumpy and slow. The fairways were overwatered on some holes (1, 10, 15) and dry and hardpan on others. The rough was in bad shape - thick fescue grass in some places, crab grass and bermuda grass in others.

This is supposed to be JC resorts premier course - I'm afraid to say it is no gem. Twilight rate was $40, whereas Mt. Woodson is only $35 and Doubletree is only $29. You won't find me on this course on a Saturday or Sunday - even at the JC rate, it is overpriced.

Played on March 10, and there's no way this course is worth the retail price. If you're not playing for the JC Card rate, you're getting ripped off. The course is in OK shape. Greens are fine for the most part. Fairways are pretty thin. Bunkers are absolutely awful - sometimes less than one inch of sand before you hit the clay liner. The rough is either non-existent (i.e., an inch or two) or an unmowed 4-6" cabbage patch - no consistency whatsoever. It's too bad, because there are some good hole designs and some challenges to your game at this course. Can't even begin to imagine what they'd charge if they kept this course in decent shape.
