The course is in very good shape. The greens are looking pretty good for a course that gets a lot of play. They keep them well watered so they are pretty soft. Fairways were generally in good shape with some spots of bermuda and crab grass. Plays well. Several of the cunkers were very thin on sand.

The marshalls were extremely helpful in their advice and overall very friendly.

J C Golf, you should be ashamed of your self, you will aerated half the green on every hole, and you won’t tell people when they make there starting times or give them a break on the green fees.

Even American Golf will do that much for you.

I am a J C Players Card holder and I don’t like the idea of using my Free Round of Golf (that I paid for) on a course that is not up to your own standards.

I think you should at lest have the decency to tell golfers when they make there starting times and let them decide if they would like to play on half greens, but don’t wait until they get to the course and then tell them after they have driven 40 or 50 miles at $3.00 a gal.

Spent three days at the inn this week. Played four rounds of golf. First time to the facility. Hotel is first rate. So is customer service. Golf course, for a resort course, is a little disappointing. Fairways were cut short, but many bald spots. Tee boxes pretty hacked up. Greens were fairly smooth. Funny, all the brochures and pictures on the web are full of super bright white sand filled bunkers, but the reality is dull brown hardpan with no sand. Bunkers were atrocious. It's a fair course that runs through a valley. Not a huge variety of holes. Course surrounded by houses. Definitely not worth $110 on weekend and $90 on weekday. I paid $52 with Golf passbook discount and second round on same day is only $25 for hotel guests. I'd say it's a $50 course. Customer service was great. But, for a getaway, I prefer Sycuan Resort in El Cajon. Better conditioned courses for less $ and less expensive rooms.

Give this course two or three weeks for the over seeding of the fairways to take hold and hope the greens smooooth out by then.
