What a awesome course! This is the second time playing this course it's does not getting any better. It was a little hot but, I would do it again in a second. Great Atmosphere. Friendly club house staff. Anyone who plays golf needs to reward them self with a round or two at this awesome course.

Was surprised that pace of play and tee box quality has gone downhill. I have played this course 6 times or so in the last nine months and the last two times I played in June I was disappointed that the round was 5 hours to play on both occassions. Marshalls seemed unconcerned with pace and fact that clearly unqualified players were teeing off from back tees. Also, several tee boxes were in the poorest shape I have seen ever on this course.

Play on 7/4. We started at 6:30am and left around 4:30pm. We played 32 holes. We could have finished another 10 more holes except one of guys had to leave to pick up his kids. We had a great time.... Continue »

Play on 7/4. We started at 6:30am and left around 4:30pm. We played 32 holes. We could have finished another 10 more holes except one of guys had to leave to pick up his kids. We had a great time. Weather was beautiful and breeze was nice and cool. Perfect weather for golf. All of us lost lots of balls and two of us actually clear out all our balls in our golf bags. However we still had a great time. Thumbs up for Moorpark golf course. Fairways and greens are in top shape. Bunkers are OK. I only saw one bunker had some water in it. Sands are bit hard. Interesting breaks on most of the greens. There seems like breaks right at the holes. We all experienced balls going directly to the holes but breaks right at the holes or spin out. Had little difficult time to find restrooms around the golf course. Our scores are bit high but can't complain. Can't wait to go back and spend all day enjoying the scenic views and play golf ....

Played Ridgeline/Creekside on Monday morning. The course is in outstanding shape. The greens, fairways and rough are extremely well-manicured right now. Even with all of the heat, there were very few browns spots on this course at all. The greens were rolling great, the fairways were in outstanding shape and the rough was long enough to cost you if you were too crooked off of the tee. The sand traps were in good shape, but a couple of my playing partners came up with some pretty hard lies in a few. The only complaint about this course is the starters. They are about as short-tempered and as rude as any can get. They were pretty much growling at everyone from the time I got there until I left. Oh well, I guess every course must have one thing they can improve on.

Motored around the Ridgeline-Creekside combination on Tuesday morning alone in about three hours and found the course in spectacular condition. Greens are just perfect. Although they might consider getting them a hair faster, there's hardly a complaint to be lodged. Fairways were immaculate, rough substantial in places but also exceptionally groomed, bunkers solid, tee boxes in great shape if perhaps a bit shaggy... this course truly sets the standard for conditioning in this part of Ventura county. Get out and play!

Played this course on 6/23 (my birthday) Course in excellent shape. Played the Ridgeline/Creekside combination. Greens were in excellent shape with few ball marks. Fun course to play and was matched up with a couple from Simi Valley who were a delight to play with. Enjoyed the round very much and would recommend this course to everybody. However I have 2 compliants. Paid $85 for the round on a Friday but still had to pay an additional $4 for warmup balls. Should be included for that price. Secondly the snack bar people were not to friendly. Seemed to think that it was an inconvenience to wait on you at the turn. The rest of the staff were great especially the starter who allowed me to warmup at my leisure before heading out to play. In summary a great experience and I look forward to going back again sometime.
