Golf Course Reviews: California, Arizona, Nevada, Texas, Oregon, Washington, Colorado, Utah, Florida, Hawaii!Played this course on 7/16/07 for the first time. Course in good to excellent shape with some brown spots. Greens in good shape but that day the maintenance crew was putting sand on them. Not an overly long course yardage wise but a lot of elevation change with both uphill and downhill holes. There are some blind shots as well and course will be easier to play the next time knowing the layout now. Overall I thoroughly enjoyed the course and will plan on playing it again when I am in the area.
Decided to play this course on the way down to LA. Had looked at the previous reviews of this course and decided I might enjoy playing it. Played on 9/1 midday and there was no one else on the course. Course is in the process of putting in new irrigation so the edges of the fairways are dirt and mud but the course in general is in good shape. Greens are in excellent shape with few ball marks and allow you to hit into them and produce a ball mark. Fun design course with most of the holes hitting from an elevated tee down to a valley and back up to an elevated green. Winds through housing subs but houses are not that close to most fairways. Lots of trees on edge of fairways provides sufficient shade even when it is hot. Would recommend playing this course and I plan on playing it again this year.
Great shape especially the greens. Snack bar staff not very friendly. Should include price of warmup balls in greens fee
Played this course on 6/23 (my birthday) Course in excellent shape. Played the Ridgeline/Creekside combination. Greens were in excellent shape with few ball marks. Fun course to play and was matched up with a couple from Simi Valley who were a delight to play with. Enjoyed the round very much and would recommend this course to everybody. However I have 2 compliants. Paid $85 for the round on a Friday but still had to pay an additional $4 for warmup balls. Should be included for that price. Secondly the snack bar people were not to friendly. Seemed to think that it was an inconvenience to wait on you at the turn. The rest of the staff were great especially the starter who allowed me to warmup at my leisure before heading out to play. In summary a great experience and I look forward to going back again sometime.
Great course but greens needed to be rolled and cut. Little slow and bumpy. Otherwise course in good shape and each and every hole is memorable. Can see each green from the teebox. Straight forward golf and I would highly recommend it to anyone but check the green conditions before you go. Will definitely play it again when I am in the area.
Course in great shape: greens were in excellent shape; had only 12 putts on the front nine; Pace of play was slow as we were a twosome playing behind two very slow foursomes. Would highly recommend this course to anyone and a great value at $55 when compared to similiar courses in Las Vegas
