First time at Moorpark CC. I've never played on a nicer course. Conditions were near perfect. Outstanding design with a couple of risk reward holes that challenge your placement ability. This place is everything the TPC at Valencia isn't. Spectacular views and use of the local terrain. Well worth the drive and dollars. I could spend the rest of my playing time between Lost Canyons, Rustic Canyons, Terra Rejada and Moorpark CC and never complain. Four totally different and outstanding courses within 10 minutes of each other. I gotta move closer!

Played in a corperate tournement there on Weds, Oct 23. Most of the fairways where in good condition, but certainly over watered. Very sloppy on several holes. Hole #10 has had some damage to the fairway, of which they have over seeded to compensate to repair the damage. Otherwise, pace of play was good, greens where in great shape, still one of my favorite courses.

Walked on as a twosome today, $75, not another soul to be seen. Tees, fairways, traps and greens all in near perfect condition. Two fairways on "back" nine are currently being worked and a little thin. New clubhouse is amazing. Well worth the fee, but also the highest at $75 around. Perhaps a reduced weekday fee would get the round counts up as Lost Canyons is now at $69 and Tierra, Rustic, Sterling, Simi, are all substantially less. If your looking for a great track in great shape with no pace of play or waiting on the group in front this is the place.

This is a great course. Not neccessarily the most difficult course around, but it really penalizes you for miss hits. Bring some extra balls just in case. Good use of natural terrain and elevation.... Continue »

Played twilight on Columbus Day, you could not beat the price or pace of play. They are currently adding another 9 holes. Will definitely be back.

Played on 7/9. Probably the fastest greens I've ever played. No bumps, whatsoever, and very true to the read. Oh, did I mention FAST?! Shot 39 on the front, but then shot 44 on the back with four 3-putts. This course is incredible in every way. My only complaint is that there wasn't anything to indicate pin placement.

This course is absolutely beautiful! It plays as good as it looks. Many holes are very challenging but the rewards are there if you hit the right shots. This is a course that you will want to come back to and play over and over again. target golf...precise at times on some holes and very forgiving on others. The staff is very personable and friendly. This course is way under-rated and won't be kept a secret very long, so play now while you can still get on!
