Played here 5/29 and was very satisfied. Overall the course was in good shape. The greens were in very good condition. This course is open enough for inaccurate hitters but poses its share of challenges. I would recommend the somewhat long drive from LA.

Course in good shape. Pace of play would have been fast except for one slow group early in the afternoon.

Course is in great shape. Pace of play always inforced. Greens are recovering nicely from aeration. Worth the trip!

Played this course for the first time yesterday. Course conditions are excellent (including the greens)...comparable to higher priced courses. This is a fun track with good elevation changes and lots of wind. I love the island green on #14...played 2 clubs longer with wind in your face. Ventura County courses are consistently better than those in L.A. Friendly staff. $19 to walk (twilight) in just over 4 hours. Would definitely go back!

Played on 4/17 in a tournament. Greens healing from the punching and sanding, little bumpy but should be fully healed by the end of the month. They do a great job of keeping the groups on track. Marshals are out on the course at check points keep the doggy's moving on. We finished in about 4:20 for a Saturday morning tournament - not bad. Course in decent shape otherwise, sand is good. The warm up area is looking a little ratty, they have a nice chiping area with a sand trap off of hole number one that is great for sand and chipping warm up. Overall a good experience for the money.

Played today, and the course was in great shape. Fairways, greens, rough, bunkers--all in good condition. $28 to walk it (in 3 1/2 hrs) --perfect.
