Really a fun layout and enjoyable round. Entire staff, from starter to cart vendor, to cart girl are top notch. These guys really know how to run a great affordable golf course.

One downside...The greens are a little disapointing. They continue to be really brown and dry. I know its really hot, but it seems worse than just heat. Maybe fungus or some other problem. Who knows. They still arent horrible, but I would expect them to be in as good condition as the rest of the course.

I'll definately be back to rustic canyon.

Played yesterday morning Jul 21. The course is going thru the overseeding process right now, so it's cart paths only. The course is in good overall condition, and the greens were in very good condition and rolling fast. They've cleared away some of the brush and have opened the course up a bit - visually, it's a little less intimidating than in the past. I really like this course, even though I have a tough time scoring well here. It's fun, is a good layout, and tests all of your shotmaking ability. Plus, it forces you to think about what you're doing. Yes, play is fairly slow, but it's always a fun course to play.

Nice course but WAAAAYYYYYYYY TOOOO SSSSLLLLOOOOOWWWWW. Started at 3 and finished in the dark. We had a lot of people playing the wrong tees and waiting to hit up and not even being able to carry. Bad first impression.

The course was great, however it took forever to finish, some holes were backed up with 3 foursomes.

July 16-20 the fairways are being punched. Carts are complimentry, but revolving holes are shut down for temporary work and watering.

A great track! Greens are still healing from aeration. This current rating may not do justice as to how good this course has been in the past,,, I'm sure it will come back. I like Rustic!
