Adjusted the playing tips - I think I got them all right - please check them out. I'm happy they went back to the original layout...gives me time to recover after playing hole 8! - formally 17.

This is the first of back to back par 5's. This is a dogleg to the left par 5 with a hidden bunker on the left hand side of the fairway that can be reached by long hitters. I would aim for the middle right portion of the fairway for your drive. This hole can be reached in two shots with two bombs. The second shot usually plays a little downhill to a very tricky green. There is a huge volcano hump that seperates the green in two halves. Finding the correct side of the green where the pin is at is crucial to having a good chance for a birdie or par on this one. There are also two deep bunkers on the right side of the fairway just 30 yds or so in front of the green that must be avoided on the layup or approach shot. This is a birdie hole if played correctly.

Do not go left here as their is OB there(driving range). There are big trees on the right side of this fairway. You should start your drive out at the trees(which is actually a straight line off of the tee) and play a nice draw back into the center of the fairway. Front right bunker guards this green. Do not go right or long on the approach shot here. If you miss the green, miss it just left of the green for the easiest up and down. Fairly tough opening hole. Green slopes from back right down to front left.
