Rode the Blues this morning 8/3/26 as part of the GK/Golfmoose event under beautiful weather around 80 degrees with light winds. Joined by buddies John, Ron and Mark. Pop was 4 hrs 45 minutes. Great staging area for an event with the driving range, putting green and chipping area all close in proximity.

Greens looked and putted pure and fantastic. They putted just a tad slower than they looked and held shots very well. Some small and some large green complexes. Most greens here slope back to front so staying below the hole is paramount. Rated 8.5/10

Fairways were nicely cut and padded kikuya based grass that was in great shape! Rated 8.5/10

Rough was thicker kikuya that was higher than the fairways. Most rough sections just feet off the fairways provided nice flier lies. The rough greenside on some holes was thicker and grabby. Rated 8.5/10

Tees were mainly level and in nice shape. Rated 8/10

Only in one greenside bunker that had nice quality sand in it.

Las Posas is a ballstrikers players course where long/straight provides birdie opportunities and crooked provides danger on most holes here. Need to work the ball both ways off the tee here on the back nine. Well guarded greens with superb bunkers surrounding them. Couple nice challenging longer par 3s on the front and two quirky par 5s on the back.

Overall fun course to play with some slight elevation changes here and there.

Don't miss Oscar's grill just to the right of 18 green. Some of the best food in the county.
