Played on 5/12. Tee time was at 7:35, never saw a group in front or back of us. Unbelievable views of the mountains and downtown sin city.
Everyone from the bag attendance to the starters where friendly and helpful.
The greens where hard, rolled fast and smooth. Bunkers where hard desert sand. Fairways in good to great shape. Only negative, no GPS. Very supprising for such a nice course.
All in all, a very nice golf experience. A must play when visiting Vegas.

Tee boxes were perfect and fairways lush.The greens ran fast and true.This course is a must play right now for the money.Played for $150,well worth it considering the group right behind us played for$240.The staff treated us great from the pro shop to snack bar girl.The wind was down and the weather was nice.Enjoy!

I played Rio Secco on 2/8 and it is the best shape I have ever seen it. Rough is dormant yes but by design and makes beautiful contrast to manicured fairways. Everything from tee to green is exceptional. Customer service is good attentive but not pushy!! Layout is tremendous challenging without being goofy (ie Wolf Creek) Was very windy and cool today which added to the courses toughness. Greens are running about an 11 which is challenging but not impossible. Still if you play here keep approaches below the hole for scoring. Great driving range and putting and chipping area which is included in cost. If you can play this course for under $100 go for it. February local deal $55 with Email sign up is best deal in town, definitely a green light special!!

I was disappointed with Rio Secco. I guess it didn't live up to all the hype. Played 12-01-08 $115 Twilight fee.
The pro shop staffer's attitude seemed to say, if you don't pay full fee you are 2nd or 3rd class. The marshall
just told us the 1st tee is up that way and left us to find it! Course condition was generally poor especially the rough which looked and played like wrinkled brown carpet! Our foursome won't play here again. I don't like to give such a poor review, but I feel there is much better golf with better service for less money in the Vegas area.

Played there about 2 weeks ago while in Vegas on Vacation, they had just reopened from over overseed and aeration and OMG the course was beautiful.
My fiance and I played, had a 10am tee time, was deff a 5 hour round which totaly sucked but the views and vistas keep you occupied. . .
Tiger Woods hold the course record, its cool they put his scores for each hole on the Scorecard, its like you can play a match with Tiger!
Don't worry he torched me, but I did break 80!
Greens were nice, fast but you could hold shots. . . Very playable
Sand was immaculate, I was in 3 bunkers got up and down from all 3, very consistent..
Only problem of the day was that we got paired up with a guy who got a "Tee Mate" which is a "dancer" from one of Harrah's shows in Vegas, in our case X-burlesque...
It would have been cool but like I said I was with my Fiance....
All in all will go back when I'm in Vegas, it is a MUST PLAY!

played course on 1/3 and it was in fabulous shape for this time of year. greens were fast but held excellently. only complaint was lack of sand in most bunkers which i found plenty!! great layout with imagination needed around the greens. great use of elevation changes and fabulous views of the strip and surrounding area! top 5 golf course in vegas i believe. only paid 59 dollars with local id which is incredible! friend from ny paid 150 dollars but still said it was worth every penny. highly recommended especially for locals right now for that price! play it now!!

Played late December. Greens were firm but putted very well. Some ball mark damage on a few greens that were often in the shade and suffered from the hard ground. Pace was quick - we were able to play 36 holes after teeing off at 9am and finished by 4pm. The bermuda rough may not look good this time of year, but it plays well and the winter rye mixed in gives the fairways a healthy look/play.
