Returned to Tuscany for Thanksgiving week and played 4 rounds. Tuscany has been aggressively attracting local golfers with low green fees. This translated into one (only 1) round taking over 5 hours. Nevertheless, Tuscany provided a good golf experience at a fair price compared to other Vegas courses. They still need a permanent clubhouse.

Played 4 days in a row 03/16/09 -03/18/09. Course in good shape but greens a touch
slow. This is a good value course and although it is in a housing development you don't feel crowded by the houses. Staff very friendly and gave a more reasonable rate to non residents. Only problems are - no clubhouse just a trailer ( snack service only ) and no club storage. For those traveling from the strip requiring more sustinance, an excellent breakfast buffet is available at Green Valley Ranch Casino just off I 215. About $7.00.

Played 3 days in a row,3/20/09 - 3/22/09, course in great shape and staff friendly and attentive (as always ). Only glitch was they had no BEER! (Sam Adams had left the building evidently). It appears there has been a change of management and someone forgot to change the liquor license. This might also explain the reduction in staff numbers - this did not appear to adversely influence service.

Played here 11/29 &11/30/08, as a package from Loews hotel [$250 per day]. Course, hotel and service - all First Class. I played here last year and was very impressed. I was not dissappointed when I returned this year. The cost is not cheap but you only get what you pay for. There are better value for money packages to be had, but you only live once! For those who are careful with money - the weekend package rate is the same as weekday which can reduce the cost difference.

I was disappointed with Rio Secco. I guess it didn't live up to all the hype. Played 12-01-08 $115 Twilight fee.
The pro shop staffer's attitude seemed to say, if you don't pay full fee you are 2nd or 3rd class. The marshall
just told us the 1st tee is up that way and left us to find it! Course condition was generally poor especially the rough which looked and played like wrinkled brown carpet! Our foursome won't play here again. I don't like to give such a poor review, but I feel there is much better golf with better service for less money in the Vegas area.

played here 11-26-08 in light rain. Staff very friendly and helpful. Course in great condition. Houses set well back. A nice course - worth the green fee.

Played Rhodes Ranch, 11-24-08 , a nice course, but a bit well used. Houses set back from fairways but it still felt like playing in a sub-division. Paired up with Dan ,a member who gave us some good advice on how to play the course. Thanks Dan! Nice clubhouse , excellent steak & egg breakfast for $10.
Better Golf Value to be found elsewhere -Tuscany for example.

Played the Thanksgiving Shotgun during significant [record in Vegas] rainfall. Staff were very attentive, as usual, even placing plastic bags over your clubs to keep them dry and supplying multiple dry towels. Course in great shape, you wouldn't know about the new greens if you weren't told. Only complaint - What happened to the ball washers and those thick towels? A pitcher of Sam Adams is only $12 in the clubhouse and stay and play at the hotel is approx $100 - Still the best value in Vegas area.

I have played Primm Valley several times per year for the last 8-9 years. It never fails to impress me. The course is always in great shape, the service is excellent, the green fee is very reasonable (as a package with PV Hotel) and NO HOUSES around the course. It doesn't get much better than this for under $175 Hotel and golf.

My threesome played Paiute Snow 3 days in a row,19 20 21 Nov 07. They give you 10% off day 2 and 20% off day 3. Course was in good shape and was a very nice course - very windy on day 2 par 5's became par 7's into the wind. Greens lightning fast- downhill putts were 3 putts. I think the ball accelerated uphill as well! NO HOUSES around course -a great feature. Very nice clubhouse but basic washroom facilities. Food and beverage prices a bit high. Decent value for money otherwise.

Played Reflection Bay 11/26/07, Course was in great shape.Marvelous scenery, some really attractive golf holes. Had a 10-30 tee off, after the twosome in front left us behind (we were 3) didn't see anyone else.We had a good rate for visitors- a package @ Loews Hotel ($275). At that price I'd go back tomorrow!

I play 6-8 rounds per year at Primm Valley,I am never dissappointed. The practice areas are marvellous & included in the green fee.The service is great and if you book a package through the hotel ,you can stay & play for the price of a room in Vegas
