played 8/21 as single in the afternoon, $50. starter sent me off #10 to avoid some groups on the front, which was nice.
conditioning was ok, but probably as good as it gets during late summer in phx...110 degrees in the shade. tees were fine, greens were very firm and pretty fast, some pitchmark damage in places. fairways were bare in places, with some resodding/seeding going on. bunkers were often crusty, as if they had gotten rain/water and not re-raked. (maybe the heat was starting to melt the sand into glass?)
forgiving layout for the most part, even from the back - but if you're not hitting it long off the tee, i found it impossible to stop anything on the greens with longer than a 7 iron, even landing on the front would often lead to rolling off the back. visually interesting course, but lots of courseside homes.
played in under 3 hrs, which was nice. service was good - guy even escorted me out to #1 (it's a ways from the clubhouse, maybe some folks can't read signs and get lost in the desert?), and the locker rooms/showers were a much needed bonus after the round.

Played here in the AM on 8/5 and this place is great. We played from the back tees and I thought that this presented some good challenges. Its a good thing we were given a yardage book b/c I don't think I could have made it through the round without one. Played early enough where the heat was not a factor and thought that from tee to green everything was in great shape. The course is a little pricey so it wouldn't be something that I would play frequently but it is a place I would play every once in a while.

I played this course Yesterday. Beautiful course that I would love to play again. Private club feel. Course was perfect!
