Walked the Blues (1361/30.0/97) in 1.5H on their Sr. rate of $11. The weather was around 65, clear and breezy. This is a unique 10 hole Executive course, par 32. You start with two short par 4's, and end with eight straight short par 3's. The par 3's range from 89 - 144 yards, so this is not a course you are likely to utilize your entire bag on. The tees were chewed up and in poor condition overall, lots of unfixed divots. No divot repair mix provided on the course. Both the fairways and rough were okay, mowed down close. The one sand trap was not maintained very well. Lots of footprints and weeds in it. The small poa annua greens would rank in the bottom dozen out of the hundreds of courses I have ever played. Spongy, medium slow to slow speed and BUMPY. I have putted on smoother greens immediately after aerification. Customer service was good, and their 11th Hole Restaurant had good burgers. This would be a good course for seniors, beginners and novices to play. Short, easy to walk with little trouble other than a couple of forced carries over ravines. Typical short course layout with small greens and a lack of major obstacles. However, with the playing conditions being well below average, not one I would recommend otherwise. The equivalent of over $20 for 18 holes is overpriced to walk this course.

Eaglee and I played a few short SLO County short courses as warm-ups yesterday before the SCGA outing at San Luis Obispo County Club in the afternoon. This was our second round after a quick early morning nine at Pismo State Beach GC. We got here around 9:00. The nice elderly lady behind the counter was great, but gave us a little bit of a lecture for not having a tee time. The place really wasn't that busy, though, so we got out right away. $11 walking rate. We played through a fivesome a few holes in and then caught the groups ahead for a very slow last few holes. Still, a relatively quick pace. The course was in pretty solid shape. Mostly lush and green in the areas that counted. Tee boxes fine. Greens soft, but mostly well-kept and pretty smooth. A little slow, though. Rough enough to make you work, but not punishing. Fairway areas a bit shaggy, but fairly good, lush grass coverage. This is a decent short course with two very short par-4s to start that would both be par-3s on most regulation courses. 10-hole layout is a little weird, but not necessarily on the Central Coast where you have another 10-holer (Sunset Ridge in Santa Maria), a 12-holer (Monarch Dunes Challenge in Nipomo) and even a 6-holer (River Oaks in Paso Robles)! Mostly older folks out here on a Tuesday morning, and it's a good little course for seniors, kids and beginners.

This is a great pitch/putt course. It has two "long" holes (about 200 yards) but the majority of the holes are meant for PW and putter. There are two holes that you have to hit over a creek to the green. The greens are primarly table top with lots of undulations. This is a great course to work on your short game. This course is also great for beginners. My wife played, she is brand new to golf, and enjoyed it as well. The views are remarkable and make it very enjoyable. Strongly recommend this course.

My apartment is down the street from this course and I try to play it once a week or so. It’s definitely worth the green fees. It is a 9-hole 3-par though so don’t expect anything too tricky.

Today was the first time playing this course. We stopped by here on the way back from Sea Pines golf course to try this course out. We were surprised it cost $9 weekday green fees to walk. For $9 this course is a lot nicer than municipal 9 holes golf courses back in Los Angeles.

We didn't know what to expect here when we played today. We thought we would be hitting our tee shots off mats but here it was all grass tees. This is a nice executive course. Granted this course was not easy. There were a few carries over dry creek. The greens were real small and the greens were mostly elevated. The fairway conditions here were decent for this time of year. It was real quiet in the early afternoon. It is a nice course to play a quick 9 holes. Tho' I noticed it got real busy at twilight. Next time when we are in this area, we will be back to play here.
