Played 7/13 on a cloudy summer day early but slow paced pop on the north shore of Lake Tahoe. reviewed my report from 2020 and rob's and the course is remarkably similar in condition now compared to four years back. A Trent Jones Jr designed short 18 holes inspired by Harold B. Tiller who developed this area in the early 60's.
Tee boxes flat and playable 14 par 3's some better than others. Par 4's fine.
Bunkers the ones i was in heavy deep sand easy to go too deep too fluffy for me.
Fairways and surrounds well kept and tight lies. A lot of summer watering as few wet areas roped off and a few approaches wet and soft. In the rough around the greens it maybe sitting up or go deep in 2"+ stuff.
Greens are nice with a few small brown areas. rolling fair and firm uphill cautious on the down-hillers.
Cart paths recently renovated. No current golf moose specials. Locals pay less.
Rack rate weekend at $95 ok? for summer vaca, and a 4 month season. A 5-some (one younger teen) in front of us slowed our pace and we noticed a few more playing behind us as we got to 17th. Therefore our pop was slowed significantly.
Paired with a local guy with 220 rounds experience and he plays regularly with Bruce Gordon 84+ years old local legend who in 2016 at 78 years young walked over 107 rounds (3+ mi. each) that summer. So good conversation helped pass the time.
Had we been first out at 7 we would have saved and hour's time. That was Ok, as
Casa Baeza in Truckee didn't open for lunch until 11. Good fun good day recommend.

Started the Pisarski "Family" trip with an early Friday afternoon round at the Incline Village Mountain Course. The short Par 58 course (14 par 3s, 4 par 4s) was an excellent warm up/start to to the weekend. Paid $55, which was at least half of what the surrounding "big" courses are currently charging. Staff was incredibly friendly and great. Easy check in, grab a cart key and off to putt while waiting for the starter to let you go. Course was in good condition. Tees had some damage. Fairways were nice. Greens were pretty smooth (outside of leaves and seeds) and running more on the medium side of medium/fast. C-19: they allowed us to pair up in carts, but mandated separation in the clubhouse. Pool noodles, no rakes, no holes in the practice green, and 15 minute tee times. Course was really fun and provided a good test off the tee or second shots on the par 4s. Mix in the higher elevation (around 7000), there are basically no shots without an elevation change. You're either hitting up or down, but never level. It's a good break and a fun course.

Played early 9/20/20. Interesting 18 hole executive course (par 58) at just below 7000 ft elevation North of Lake Tahoe. Course winds through a neighborhood of homes sometimes on the sides of holes. Very hilly with some forced carries and most with at least one place you'll most likely lose your orb hitting it there.
Tees a little scruffy with some top dressed. Greens rolled well not perfect but playable in the medium to fast range consistent and similar through the 18. Fairways good on the four par fours. Spots a little wet from watering.
Overall a good quick paced round on a good layout with good service. The clubhouse has been rebuilt and remodeled since a fire last year. Snack service doesn't open until 10 so early players plan accordingly.
Our playing partners were first timers and didn't know the course was mostly par 3's until after playing the short par 4 first and three par 3's in a row.
Witnessed my friend Todd's first career hole-in-one on the 10th hole (186 yds) That made the round memorable as the last time we played it in 2017 eclipse.

We were slated to play both Incline Village courses today, and originally the plan was to play Championship first. However, the weird weather (that really didn't turn out bad at all) scared all the resort players away and both courses were really empty. We ended up going to Mountain first. We played through one group and then caught another twosome on the final few holes. Total pace only about 1:20 as we zipped around in the gas cart! Also a GolfMoose deal we used here ($99 for 2 players, which is a bit much for an executive course, even one as fun as this). The course was in decent shape, but not as nice as I would expect with the Incline Village name attached. Tee boxes and fairways mostly fine with some weak spots throughout. Rough a little inconsistent, but okay. Greens firm-ish, but still kind of thin and bumpy this time of year. Bunkers pretty good from what I recall. This is the sister course to the main Championship Course at Incline Village (with a separate facility a couple miles up the road), also designed by Robert Trent Jones Sr. It's an executive 18 holes with 14 par-3s and 4 par-4s. Wide variety of distances and you will use most clubs in your bag. Hilly and often tight with small-ish greens and lots of trees, native rough areas, etc. to keep you on your toes. Fun short mountain course and recommended if you get the right price.

Course conditions are generally the same as last year (see July '14 review for a longer course review). Overall quite good with some issues on the tees -- many are quite unlevel.

This is not an easy course. Narrow off the tee on most holes. Lots of elevation change.
To play here is a nice change of pace from big course golf. Hit it straight and stay out of the ravines.

Just a couple negatives: grill room not designed for 30+ players finishing at the same time. No room for a driving range.

This course is a good choice for a unhurried round of midday golf with a lot of scenic golf shots. Priced around $50.

Played here for the first time Tuesday May 12th. I rec'd a complimentary pass to play here and frankly did not due any research before coming out to play. So, when I finally realized after the 3rd par 3 in a row, I looked at the score card and figured out what I was in for. Two par 4's per 9 holes with the rest being par 3's. Once I figured that out, I settled in for the short game challenge. The hole locations are set in a forested area with streams crisscrossing the track. It is both an audio/visual experience. Very relaxing place to play.

The course just opened up after a long winter's nap but, you really could not tell. Tee boxes were a bit thin but, level for the most part. What fairways there were, were lush and tailored like carpet. Bunkers had what looked like new white sand and in great shape. Greens mostly smooth but a little slow. This is a challenging course and you better be on your short game.

First trip around this course. This is not your pop's pitch and putt. Very challenging. Located about a mile up the side of the mountain from the Incline Championship course. Plenty of uphill and downhill. Elevated greens make club selection the key.

Greens were a little bumpy and relatively slow. Because of the record heat here -- temps even at the lake are pushing 90° -- maintenance may be leaving the grass a little longer.

There are no "easy" holes. The four par 4s are are hilly. Protected by bunkers. None of them are gimme birdie holes.

The fourteen par 3s vary in length from 110 to 200 yards. Greens are relatively large with some tiering to make the putting harder.

If you miss the greens or the faiarway, the rough was brutal. Ball sits down. Trees are everywhere. No lake views but you have to know where the lake is becuase putts break toward the lake.

Accomodations are nothing fancy. Small pro shop. Smallish bar area with an outside patio. Use the bag drop because the parking lot is hilly, but you can drive to your car when you finish. Plenty of employees around to help with your clubs. No cart service on the Monday we played. But course is well manicured and maintenance was ongoing, but did not interfere with play. No GPS, but ice chests on each cart. NO DRIVING RANGE. Large putting green.

A fun place to play. About $100 less than the championship course down the hill (which I personally think is overpriced for the quality of the course). If you want to get a feel for Tahoe mountain golf, this executive course will fill the bill.

Played the Mountain Course the day after playing the Championship Course. Fun executive layout that is deceivingly difficult. Conditions were good but they are preparing for winter and there were a lot of maintenance people on the course causing waits on some tees. Tees and fairways were being plugged causing some poor lies. Greens were faster than they looked and in good condition. Traps were firm but there was plenty of sand. Will be back next year.
