Greens were slower than I remember and it could be because they are still healing. Lots of bumps on there from aeration. For the most part they worked out well. Tee boxes were in good condition /manicured well. However the blues had some interesting elevations (uneven layout) on most of them. Bunkers are not in good shape. There were some dry spots out there. Scenery is always great here.

I’ve played this course before and it was nicer back then. Regardless I would still come back here and play. It’s very challenging. Staff were fantastic.

Played here a couple of weeks ago didn’t have time to post. Let me say first the air quality was horrible due to the fires up north. Now onto the course.
This is a very hilly course which has a number of blind shots, and elevation changes. A few of the holes are tricked up because of space availability. There are houses along the fairways but they’re set well back and shouldn’t come into play.
Overall the course was wet, I had a couple of plugged balls and needless to say there was not rollout. Greens were receptive but some were showing sign of fungus due to overwatering.

Morning round today with ppark81. 7:30 tee time and we were the first ones out. Front nine went quickly and then we caught the ladies club groups who started on the back nine. We had to get a little creative in our routing, but we were able to avoid them pretty easily and get the whole round done in a little over 2 hours. $75 rack rate a bit spicy, but this is considered one of the best courses in this neck of the woods and we paid what we had to in order to finally play here. Conditions were pretty good for this time of year. Tee boxes good. Fairways mostly very good with just some bare/dead patches here and there and some mushy spots after rain last night. Rough mostly lush. Bunkers damp in the early morning, but good sand and freshly raked. Greens were super firm and very fast, so they were the highlight condition-wise. Big greens with plenty of undulation, so definitely some adventurous chips and putts around here. I enjoyed this course a lot. Beautiful setting and nice clubhouse amenities. It offers plenty of challenge with trees, hills, doglegs and boulder outcroppings in play. Great overall track and easily recommended if you are out this way.

Played 8-26-18 mid morning for $49 and finishing in about 4 1/2 hours. Tee boxes were in good shape, semi-lush and mostly level. Fairways were nice to hit from, mostly lush with some minor thin areas. Rough varied from being a little thin to some spots that were 6 inches or more and very thick, but most of it was about two to three inches and in good shape. Was in two greenside bunkers both of which were thin and firm. Greens were in pretty good shape semi-soft and rolling fairly true at medium speed. Overall course is in descent shape and fun to play.

Greens were rolling very fast but so many pock marks/bare areas so as to make it almost unenjoyable - really terrible looking, although you could get the occasional true putt (emphasis on "occasional"). Don't try to play Saturday morning, ladies lead the way and can be slow! Deceiving in places, need to be hitting it straight but decently wide/well-kept fairways. NO YARDAGES on either cart or throughout fairways - and lots of precision required with approaches on these greens, so...you do the math.

First time playing the course and I was impressed with the conditions given all the rain that the area has seen this year. The greens were smooth and fast, but fair. The layout and views were also great. The were a few wet spots in the fairways and some shaggy areas near the bunkers, but nothing too terrible. I will definitely return again and again.

A little wet from all the rain but overall in great shape. Greens were really fast and smooth. Played a couple years ago but not as good. Can't wait to return !!!

Played Saturday 3/25/17- Greens are completely fine, no longer a need for the alert.

The course is in fantastic condition and extremely fun to play. This was my first time here and I will definitely be back to play during this time of year. Although they said it was busy, we didn't see anyone else the entire round. Here's a breakdown:

Greens- have recently been aerated but show absolutely no signs. They didn't do any sanding and punch holes were gone. The greens were extremely fast and smooth. Some of the greens were so firm that approach shots had to be planned accordingly or else they risked bouncing off the back. Overall these were the best greens I have played throughout all of NorCal this winter.

Fairways and tee boxes- Overall in excellent condition. Didn't look like the course gets much play if you just look at the fairways. No bare spots at all, very nice conditions. The tees were also in excellent shape. Maybe this is the best time of year to catch this course before it gets cooked in the summer heat. Because of rain the day before, there was a tiny bit of water on one or two fairways, but overall not an issue. The course seems to drain very well.

Bunkers- Excellent condition. Sand was very predictable.

Overall this course is one of my new favorites. The round was 70 dollars to ride, and well worth it. Top quality greens, fairways, and service. I can't think of another course within 2 hours of the area that is in this good of shape right now for the price.

played the course a couple times the first weekend in May. The course is in great shape and the greens are perfect. Fast too. If you haven't played the course it's a nice track that rolls through the woods in a resort development. there are houses on the course but they are set back off the course for the most part so it still has a woodsy feel. The signature hole is the short downhill par 3. the tee box is probably 80-100 feet above the green that is fronted by water. Pretty hole!
