Went back because a friend of a friend got a huge discount. Have to say it was a much more enjoyable round this time because I knew the ins and outs of the course. The pin placement also seemed to be a bit more fair. The greens were in phenomenal shape, had my best putting round ever. They are quick but hold just about everything you throw at them from 200 and in. Tee Boxes and fairways were ok. The Bunkers were fine except for one greenside bunker that could've used some sand. The rough is bare or dead in some spots...but then again it is the "rough". Nice course, would never pay it for full price. Too many deals floating around out there. Get your hands on one and go have fun.

Played on Monday 5/25. Course was in great condition but was a little too gimmicky for my taste. The greens rolled true but there were numerous instances where good shots were not rewarded with scoring chances. Definitely a course that requires knowledge of where the safe places to miss are. I'd go back for the price, but I'm not in any rush to make the trek out to Napa from the Peninsula anytime soon.

Lakes and Meadows played Monday 18 May. Good service, practice facility, F&B, and all aspects of course in very good condition now. Greens were tremendous. Pace was brisk but comfortable, quiet afternoon, and polite marshals. A good experience all around. Joining the eclub alerts you too deals at the course. The more days in advance you book, the cheaper it gets.

Played the Meadows nine followed by the Vineyards nine today...a great day to be out on the course. The staff was finally able to get out and start cutting the grass today after all the wet weather of last week...the distinctions between the fairway and and first cut were not always easily discernible on some holes today...should be terrific later in the week. Overall, while soggy in some areas, the course is rebounding well. Staff treatment towards guests is always first rate.

I just loved the course!!! Extremely challenging for me as a beginner,(3yrs). Very scenic; the staff very accomodating and food great. I would consider a member ship here. I golf only once a week and if I played twice a week, the numbers would be worth joining. This may be my retirement golf course. The facilities are excellent and the course is maintained very well.

Pace good; all course in good shape due solid maintenance and good watering. Greens holding well and fairways running. Tough enough track with the wind up. Good drinks cart and very nice marshallers. Grill has great food too.

Cool day, lots of breeze. Fairways dry and cut back allowing good run out of the ball. Rough lush enough and high enough to slow down any shot, but dry.

Cool day, lots of breeze. Fairways dry and cut back allowing good run out of the ball. Rough lush enough and high enough to slow down any shot, but dry.
Greens well maintained and holding approaches well with minimal marking. some tees require attention, but generally good shape. Sand very well done.
Good attention with drinks cart, good clubhouse help, and very nice marshalling. Lots of fun and worth the green fee.

Course is drying but the greens have ample watering and are soft and holding well. Around 10 I figure on stimp today, so with the tiered green makes putting interesting. Fairways are running and the rough is cut down to around an inch. Good maintenance throughout. For a Friday afternoon, pace was brisk. Just under 4 hours for a 2 ball. Very nice grill restaurant and very polite marshallers made for another fine day.

May 27 Meadows 9 closed. Played Vineyards/Lakes with 20 mph wind. All holes well manicured, fairways medium fast and greens surprisingly soft and holding perfectly while smooth and quick for putting. Great practice facility (off grass), with good food and beverage support. Excellent marshalling for a timely round.
