Course is in pretty decent shape. Green were surprisingly fast on on some holes and putts rolled true. Fairways were a little thin and almost like hitting off of hard pan in some areas. After my second time playing this course, I could definitely see scoring better with some better strategy on some of the odd short par 4s.

The course is in the best shape I've ever seen it. Greens were mostly lush and true. Although they didn't do me much good this a.m. Bunkers were well maintained and fluffy. Only bad spots were some of the patchy tee boxes. Not very busy either but with a lot of the courses punching their greens now, I expect to business to pick up soon. I know me and my foursome will put it back in our regular rotation.

Played on 2/28/09 with Farewaybob, one of his buddies, and a walk on. We started at about 9:00, finished by 2:20. The course is in as lush condition as I have ever seen it. However, I believe the greens were slow and bumpy. You really had to hit a deliberate putt to get it in the hole, otherwise the grain would just push it away or make it come up short. The rest of the course was in good condition, lots of green grass with decent lies and very few bare areas.

Few drops of rain for couple of holes... and it got cleared. We actually replayed another round since the weather was so nice. We were all thankful...
Due to the recent rain, many of the fairways had flooded areas. If you keep your shots to the center of the fairways then you will be fine. Some bare spots. Greens are bit bumpy and slow. I guess they didn't cut the grass due to the rain. Many bunkers are filled with water. Even on a good days, I think the bunkers are bit thin and hard. Need more sands. Roughs are OK. Not many OB areas. I consider this course flat and long. If you are a long hitter, this will be pretty simple course. All the par 3 holes are at least 170yds from the Blue tees. Overall this is OK course. Nothing special...

Course in very good condition. Everything very green. Cart path only due to the recent rains made for a slower than usual round. Missed all the sand traps today so can't comment on their condition. Greens were smooth, but a little slow. Weather perfect for this time of year so my group had a very enjoyable round. I now prefer this course over Woodley Lakes or Encino/Balboa. Will be back soon if the conditions stay this good.

Best shape I've seen in years. All construction is complete. New irrigation & cart paths. One of my favorite City courses.

Played Saturday late morning. What a slow round! Overall the course is in good condition though. First off, course should not allow maintance people on the first tee while people of are teeing off. Kind of sets the tone when you're on your backswing and you hear them talking to eachother a couple of feet away! Second, we were the 3rd group out after a slow tourney. On the second, the group ahead of us was stopped by maintenance, to water the green or to give a little more room to for the tourney. Anyway, that's what kind of day it was. Teeboxes were nice, some bare spots. Fairways were in good condition. Roughs were pretty thick. Traps were soft. Greens were okay. They were slow in the beginning (from all the watering they did) but it got better on the back 9. Overall, course is good. Wish the pace was better, but what can you expect from a muni.
