We played at Eisenhower yesterday afternoon 3/13/05 as in many other Sundays over 30 years. Even with miserable weather all day we had a decent round and the course is in good shape despite recent rain.

But we did not appreciate the way one of employees(sorry, we did not get his name, the young asian guy who handed cart keys to us) treated us. Getting golfers' sig on the cart receipt is fine but why treat your customers like some sort of common criminals. This kid was so rude, arrogant, and abrasive that we, all single handicapers by the way, felt terrible even before the round began. Furthermore, what's the point of rushing people around at the parking lot. He was very disrespectful and I hope management have a word with him. Thanks

Wet conditions overall.Wow I forgot how tough this course was!!I am about a 10 handicap and I didn't break 90.Play the whites and have a better time.Be below the hole on most greens.Played very long with the wet fairways.Didn't understand why the 9th hole snack bar was closed on a Sunday afternoon?I don't know if I will go back again it made be feel like what I am a weekend golfer.

Played on Friday, Feb. 25 for only $25 with their Silver Anniversary Special...Course very wet and soggy in most places except for the bunkers and greens...Beat up carts with NO GPS made it a long day on the course...6 hour round...Greens are still very fast even with all the rain...Tough to read the breaks here...
Very easy to three putt unless you're below the whole...Overall,
it's a bargain for $25 but not really worth it at the regular green
fees without GPS...Very challenging course around and on the greens...

Played 02/24/2005: The course was very wet but in great shape. The greens were very puttable and the speed was true from green to green. Customer service staff was excelent!

just too much rain. middle of fairways have standing water, bunkers look like ponds, very thing else soggy except for greens. greens are very firm and dry.

The good: Awesome conditions right now. Fairways, rough, greens, sand is very, very good. As green and lush as I've ever seen it. Nice job guys!! Now the "bad": This course is exceedingly difficult. Hitting greens here doesn't mean anything. All it means is that you will probably 3 or 4 putt unless you have local knowledge and know where to hit it. More forgiving off the tee vs. the BABE, but much more demanding with your approaches and putting. This course beat me up, chewed me up and spat me back out. I left with my ego black and blue, 10 more gray hairs on my head, blood-shot eyes and my nerves frazzled ala the electric chair. It's hard to hit good shots and not get rewarded for it, even "penalized" for it, but that's what makes Industry Hills....well...Industry Hills. If you can play well here, call yourself Yoda and be the master and ruler of the Force, the dark side has no power against you. Can't wait to return and do it all again!!

Think you got game? Moving that hcp down in single digets and looking for a challenge? Here's the place to test your golfing ability I've been playing this course for 8 years and use it as a gage for 'where I'm at' and I've never been disappointed. Sure, the course has gone thru some changes and conditions may vary, but it would be hard to find a public course in greater LA that offers a more pure golf challenge than the Ike. Me, I wish they never removed the kikuya but it still plays tough. Tip: over a 7 handicap you best play the whites.

very wet course today. Water is in most bunkers, fairways and rough is very soggy. Ball was plug almost every shot!! Fairways didnt seem like it was cut for awhile. It might be due to the rain. The course should be in good shape when the course drys out and the fairways and rough is cut. Overall great layout
