Played Sunday 1/10 in 5+ hours with an 11AM tee time. Pace was slow but typical for most munis in LA on Sunday. Course is in good condition from tee to green. It is challenging to play here with tight fairways and elevation changes. Overall great experience and look forward to playing here again

My 3rd or 4th time playing here, but first time I walked it. Front 9 is easy to walk, and back 9 is more in the moderate range with the hills. Course is a good layout with some challenging areas. Driver is not the answer for every par 4 here. Course is in pretty good condition, as fairways are pretty nice considering the amount of play that it gets. Bunkers had more sand that I'm used to, as I'm used to muni dirt. Greens rolled very well and didn't notice many ball marks. The rough was inconsistent. Sometimes thin, sometimes thick, sometimes loose. Great times to be had here though.

the Bad: Slow play and hard to get early morning tee times on weekends. RAKE the sand traps people! Just because you see pros using their feet to fix on TV doesn't mean you can. They have caddies who actually rake the sand afterwards.

the Ugly: 5-somes..plenty of them..

Course was in great shape from tee to greens. They are working on some tees to make the course even better. You can never go wrong with this course

Played on Saturday here for the first time, and I have to say I really enjoyed the course. Great variety of holes, elevation changes and hole lengths. The pace was very slow (6 hours), but didn't really seem that long.
The fairways were in very good shape and the rough was nice.
The greens were medium slow, and a lot of pitch marks. If people would fix them, the greens would be great.
Tee boxes were good and the sand was a little thin, but not unplayable.
One of the guys in our group had a bad cart, clubs fell off 4 times on the front nine. Staff changed it with no problem and apologized over and over saying they are having problems getting parts right now for the carts.
I look forward to playing here again. Hopefully during the week when pace is a little faster.

played today overall looked good. the fairways are nice and lush. the rough was long and punishing. didn't have a bunker shot, so i don't know how sand was. the greens ran pretty true, more on the slow side. there were LOTS of ball marks. it seemed like the putts didn't break as much as it looked like they would. anyways, MM looks good and is always enjoyable.

Decided to play a second 18 on 7/10/09 after playing Marshall Canyon in the morning. Arrived at 1145 and went right out. Got to the second hole when I realized that the the four groups ahead of us were all twosomes. I knew we were in for a long day. The round ending up taking almost 6 hours which made for a HORRIBLE day. It sucks having to wait 10 minutes between shots. No Marshall in sight all day. As for the course, it was in decent condition but I will not be back unless I get out before 0700. It was a joke out there yesterday.
