Never know what you will get here in regard to pace of play, but expect it overall to be slow. Somedays I can do it in 4 1/2. Today was not the case. Tee'd off on a weekday at 11:45, and finished at 5:20. Dang near 6 hours. They throw out tee times 6 minutes apart. One 2nd hole, there was a group putting, a group ready to tee off, a group waiting, then our group waiting. Never got any better until about hole 17, when only 1 group waiting.
Conditions are pretty decent though from Tee to Green, even in this weather. Greens are a bit bumpy, but from unrepaired ball marks. Fairways and rough are typical San Dimas decent. They are doing some repair to the cart path in a few areas, so make sure you watch where you are driving. Cart got hit by another wayward ball from another group, which is not untypical for this place, especially on holes 5-6, 8-9, & 11-15.

Just felt like playing since a nice day and walked on for a decent 4.5 hr round. Always a fun tract when the speed of play is good. Course is in good condition, yet the rough is patchy. Either fluffy or bare. Weekdays are the best times to play obviously, weekends can get to 6 hours.

Played 12-5-11. tee boxes need work. Fairways are tight and in good shape. Greens were sanded. However did not have any effect on putts or shots to the green. Greens held well. Greens were very fast. Good course to play. Has a lot of different holes. Some tight driving holes. Beautiful signature hole par 3 16th over water. Lots of Oak trees. Few holes have power lines crossing over fairways. All the par 5's are under 500 yards. Par 4's are tricky and par 3's are all great holes. Front side are tough, back side are shorter and elevated.

Cold, and threat of a rainy day kept the morning crowd away I think, pace of play was ok, but once again their policy of letting 5somes out on a weekend first thing out makes for a somewhat frustrating wait. The gps on the carts are good, but how does the pace of play say were 14 minutes ahead of schedule on the 15th hole as we wait after every single shot for the group ahead of us to clear the fairway or more specific the rough, then the green on every hole? I guess a five hour round is on pace here in San Dimas.
The tee boxes are being tended to I believe with the fertilizer and new grass coming up, but I wish they would have leveled them before trying to grow new grass. The traps were nicely stocked with soft sand. Greens were pretty quick and rolled pretty true, held shots ok. I have seen them in better condition, but definitely playable. Fairways were ok, I am not sure what type of grass it is, but the divots are unrepairable, the grass shreds, you can only put sand in the hole and hope the players behind you don't hit into it. I will play here again as it is so close to home for me, so the extra time I save driving to and from the course can be spent sitting in the cart relaxing til it is our turn to hit...

Maybe the weather forecast scared a few people off today. But a nice round at almost 4 1/4 hours. Greens are good, not spectacular like I have heard recently. Fairways and round in generally very good condition. Fun & Interesting layout, and some greens are a menace. Pretty speedy, and not all breaks are away from the mountain. Some holes have the hole on a spot where you just can't stop the ball on the downslope. I dropped one straight down from where I had to putt one and it rolled way past the hole. In all, a fun course, and a decent deal if you are on the email list, or else a bit pricey for what you get.

Got out at noon and finished at 3:45. Current email special to play for $30 with cart all month. Greens recently worked on 1/2 at a time, but not very noticable and never affected any shot. Fun layout and when the pace is good like today, it is a great place to play. Conditions are very good right now.
