Played today, Saturday, the 20th. The course is built on the side of a hill so there is lots of side ways roll on the fairways and the greens have a lot of break away from the hill. Kind of a tricky course with several 90 or almost 90 degree dog legs. The greens were great especially for a muny, very smooth and of course very quick going away from the hill. The fairways were good with just a few thin spots. The teeing areas were good. They apparently move the tees up on the weekends as they have a seperate and lower slope and rating for "The weekend Blue Tees." There was quite a bit of wind in the afternoon. The staff was OK. This round was in a tournament and the cost was $59.00 including cart and range balls. The range is short with nets. 2 very good practice greens where chipping is allowed. The pace of play was a slow 5 1/2 hours. I could see at least 3 fivesomes in front of us and they were in another tournament. I think therein lies the problem with the pace of play at this course. All in the all the course is fun and in good shape. I would play here again, but maybe not on a weekend.

Just decided to play here on a whim, since I had a discount emailed to me from the course. Last time I played here it took about 5 1/2 hours, but today it was 4 1/4 to finish. Greens are very fast here right now, they don't stop easily when it's a down hill putt. The fairway is pretty decent, most of the time it will be a decent lie. Rough is in great shape and nice to hit out of. Bunkers & tee boxes are muni decent. Fun and different layout here it what brings me back.

Played today 7-31 late afternoon. Course conditions is decent, but greens are getting to many divots in them. Please fix your divots. Theres never any marshalls here, so slow play is common. Group in front of us were 2 holes behind! No water coolers on the course anymore(or a cart girl)so make sure you purchase your beverage at the turn. Or B.Y.O.D.(bring your own drink).

Played Tuesday 7/26. First time playing course. Overall started out as a ho-hum day with some quirky tightly packed holes on the front. But was pleasantly surprised with the back nine layout (maybe it was the lack of excitement for the front nine which made this nine look and feel better?). Not very busy and enjioyed the course. They were double verticutting and mowing the greens all day, plus upgrading irrigation throughout the course. For having a large sub contracted work creww out ther they did a good job not disrupting play whatsoever! Greens looked very good but were a little inconsistent with speed. All had good speed but... Bunkers were very good and there was no rough to speak of. The suurounding hills and mountains? give a nice touch to this course. Had a good match with some buddies and this is a course with eagle and birdie chances most of the round. Reachable par 5's and short par4's but not a cake walk if you get stuck in the tree line or cast your ball into one of the water features in the middle of the course. Good day!

Basically a 1-2 groups at the tee boxes on every hole. Surprisingly we(twosome) finished. The rain (yes, i said rain) must of scared away the golfers. It rain hard for about 10 mins. It wasnt just a light sprinkle, it was pouring. It was quite refreshing. It was a hot day today. Due to the hot weather, greens were fast. Happy 4th of July!

Played First out at 5:07 am. 6/21/2011. course was in awesome condition as it usually is. With the only thing slowing my pace of play being the landscapers Mowers, i completed 14 holes walking in 2 hours. I would have finished in under three but had to go to work. I grew up here and this course is always in great condition. Little pricey, and often plays to 5.5 or 6 hours on weekends so make sure you are here with people you enjoy golfing with. Do not try out new golf buddies on this course unless your goal is to find out what kind of person they really are. Slow play, big greens, doglegs, water, and OB can put newbies to the test. Club-slamming is optional.

Played here Saturday June 11th. This was my 4th or 5th time playing here and the conditions were great. Fairways and greens were in excellent shape. While this is not an overly tough course, you do need to be accurate from the tee and on some approach shots. We teed of (at) 10:30 and were finished (at) 2:40 4hrs 10 mins ON A SATURDAY!! I wish they had a driving RANGE instead of a driving NET, but that was my only complaint. Look for online deals to really enjoy yourself!

I like this course, but a 5 1/2 hour round on a weekday is UNACCEPTABLE!!!! On top of that, no one told us they were punching their greens when we made the tee time. I think this is a poor practice by the course to not tell the golfer when booking a tee time. Coupled with an extremely long round where the ambassidors did nothing to fix the pace of play. To have a Fivesome hold the entire course to such a long round is inconsiderate. I blame the golfer and the management of the course. Generally San Dimas gets a "pass" but today they get a "FAIL"!
