Great conditioned course compared to some of the others in the area. This course is definately one of the more difficult courses from the back tees. You MUST be able to control your tee shots on this course, from there it does not present to much of a challenge from the fairway in. The only complaint with this course is it lacks the diversity necessary to make it one of the "best in the state" as it is self acclaimed. This combined with the fact that the round took extremely long with 2-3 groups at one tee box at one time. The marshalls may be intimidated by the clientel because our group did not recieve any help from them. The final complaint I have is with the service the starter, and pro shop were very professional, but the attitude from the halfway house and grill staff left you wondering why for $300 a pop you still felt as if you were dealing with the cart boys at local muni track. All in all very nice course, but not worth the green fee.

I understand Trump's trying to compete with Pebble, but the price is not worth it. I don't like Pebble either. Rounds usually take long because people are always looking for their balls. You can get lost with the scenery but if I'm paying that much money, I would like to get a nice 4 hr round in (preferably less) and shoot a decent score. For the price, I would rather drive over to Los Verdes and pay a tenth of the price and still get good views with the same slow round.

Enjoy every seconds eventhought you are being pussed by the marshall...$195-300/person being pussed the marshall only at second hole...it was ridiculous. Well anyway every player in front of us was enjoying the game as well as the view...Other than that you should try, it was phenomenal experience.

Played twilight on Friday April 21st. Finished the round in just over 4 hours. Course was fun and exciting, many blind tees shots and a great challange. Some words of advice include- listen to the GPS system on the cart, bring extra balls, and let the ball release off the front of the green, since they are hard to hold. Many undulating fairways, and no matter what you read on the green, always remember that the putts break toward the ocean, even on downhill putts away from the ocean. The sights are amazing, the softest bunkers I have ever been in. By the way, the cafe and restaurant are great, the food and service is good, and look for the young magician in the cage, he is amazing, ask to see the awesome flying credit card tirck. Overall, a great experience, great grass driving range, and great cart guys.

My only complaint is the d%mn wind. I shot a 82 from the black tees and felt it was an exceptional round. What a tough test. 18 tee from the back is brutal into the wind. You gotta try it. I bet I could shoot a few strokes under par at most. I'll be back to tame this beauty soon. We got lucky and dodged the rain last week and had a unbelievable clear view out to sea....well past catalina...... It's pretty d%mn tough golf though. Listen to your GPS.... it will save you a ton of strokes here.

The trash cans are lined with white linnens!!! Holly s-----h---i----t !!!!!

Just look at those houses across from the front gate. There must be 500 windows on the one directly accross the street from the front driveway!!!!

WOW! Played on 3/9 and this course is beautiful and immaculate. Every bit of this course from the clubhouse to the crushed marble sand in the bunkers is absolutely gorgeous. The views are incredible from every single hole. The course itself is very, very tough. You HAVE to drive the ball straight or you will be OB and lose a lot of strokes and balls. The greens have a lot of undulations and many different tiers. And to top it off, Donald Trump himself was there and he even watched our foursome play our 2nd shots on #1 and even chatted with us for a bit. Overall the best course I have played and worth every penny.
