Fullerton might have the worst greens i have ever played on, rocks, 100's of divots, browns spots. The fairways and tees were okay, but it might be a while before i come back here.

This is a course I would play once every 5 years. It is interesting and you have to keep it in play, but the course is just too short. The grass everywhere is very inconsistent. (thick here, thin there, clovers, crab grass you name it) I know you are having the Fullerton City this week. But did you have to place soo many blue tee markers at the ladies tees?? hello..... hello.. bueller bueller..... anyone anyone?

Duffers beaware, you can loose many balls off the creek. Played April 16, Monday morning, narrow fairways and many short but challanging holes. Fairways and tee box condition - below average for the muni. Greens were very hard - concrete?#@! When you pitch or chip the ball to the green, they bounces hard or rolls very quick. Weekday tee fees little high for this kind of course condition? May return when other courses were not available.

So, I played this course on Sunday. I haven't played this course, with the exception of three weeks ago when I played the front 9 twice at twilght, but haven't played it in over 5 years when I first started playing the game a little bit more seriously and took my dad hear when he first took up the game after he retired. The first time I played it wasn't too impressed and had a bad time losing balls. Now that I've gotten better at the game (not saying much) and playing the full course, I actually have some fondness for it. It's a short course, yes, but it helps to practice your course management, be more precise with your shots. If the management at this course actually spent a little money and gave this course some needed TLC, it would be worth playing it for the price and the practice. It definitely is a great practice course, especially only being a par 67. The greens here aren't immaculate, but don't let them fool you, they are pretty quick and firm. The pace of play here was typical for a public course on a weekend, but was pleasently surprised that the old man and I showed up as walk ons expecting to wait for a while and was put on the tee immediately. Of course it was a 5 hour round, but typical anywhere on a Sunday afternoon. For the condition the course is kept in, price might be a little too much. If they would to keep it up a bit better and add certain things to it like they did on #16, this short but testy track could be a little gem. If you're looking to just practice your game and not get your expectations up as far as the layout of the course, I recommend this place. But if anyone from the course does come across this... put some more money and care to this course.... but I'll be back when I have no other place to go.

Played this course on Thursday the 22nd, they are still working on hole #16, added a huge bunker and palm trees, most of the landing area from your tee shot is still dirt! Overall still a tough course, fair price and friendly staff. Should be interesting when they are done with the construction on how to play the 16th hole!

I decided to play here since it's around the corner from my house and it's still the same course that I last visited last year (several months ago). The tee boxes were OK...thin at times. The greens were nice and flat with minimal ball marks. It seems that the locals are taking care of repairing their divots on greens. As for the fairways, they are still filling with the bermuda. I noticed that there was a huge bunker placed on the 16th with "lady fingers" on it...looks nice but it now requires at least 175 yds to clear it if you get a straight shot by the street. They were preparing to sod the fairway as well on this hole. I had to play out of the dirt. Also $36 w/cart was too much for a Monday and was not worth it to me. Believe it or not it still took me 4.25 hours to play as some senior players were playing terrible and very slow.

Played 1/15. I haven't played this course in years because of the bad condition always seemed to be in. Came back to play on a couple other people's recommendation last month. Boy were they wrong. Still the same bad conditions. Tee boxes not always level or grassy. Fairways were horrible -- uneven, dirt/thin spots everywhere. The greens were very slow and did not roll consistently. The course still has the "cramped" feeling -- like they are squeezing in the holes in the least amount of space as possible. I've played smaller courses that seemed bigger. I would not recommend playing here. Even beginners would not enjoy it as the fairways are very narrow.
