played 9/8, everything was good except the pace of play for the week days (5hrs)??
Hole #12 Par 5 - the workers were fixing the fairways - temporary changed to long Par 3. Good customer service, good price, and greens condition is always great, will be back.

Played on 1/31 morning for the first time. Good and fun course to play. Very fine service by pro shop and the girls picking up our golf bags to the cart. Friendly starters and marshalls. No GPS on the cart and very few yardage markers (in the pro shop, course guide/map selling for $7 dollars). Don't go into the sand trap, hard sand with rocks and pebbles and some bunkers are deep. Overall like the layout and condition of the course. Like to go back again.

First time playing at Rio Hondo. Tight fairways, some holes water in play. Fairways were thin. Greens were in good condition. Got nice sands in the bunkers. Good Service for both pro shop and cart girls. Like to challenge this course again.

Played in the morning. Greens were in good condition and pretty fast. Keep the ball below the tee. The course design with many holes got alot of ups and downs. Fun course for all levels.

Played Wednesday early morning. Overall the course was in great shape and well manicured, especailly the green's conditon - because they water the fairways and greens very often and early morning rounds, you get pretty wet but its okay. Minor request will be to have bunker's sands to be better. Will return again this month and before the end of the year.

The course is in great shape - getting ready for next week's Long Beach Open. The rough is deep and high. When you play El Dorado this weekends, keep your golf ball on the fairway or else kiss it good bye! In the rough not easy to find the ball and between all the trees, hard to recover and return to fairway.

Played 7/3. Great Service, Nice Pro Shop and Good Restaurant. Fun Course with great scenary. Like everyone in comments below about the Green. Hope OQ will take care the Green ASAP. It ruins the perfect golf course. Sandtraps were hard and dry.But I will be back soon.

Expect more than 6 (yes, Six) hours of playing time on weekends. Bring enough patient to play at this course. No Marshalls at all to control the speed of players without any knowledge of golf course manner. Many players don't know how to wave the next group to play at Par 3 holes. It was too bad that course condition was so good!

Played 5/11,Sunday morning. Greens still bumpy from last month aeration. They should be in good condition in few more weeks. Fairways were bare and hard. Bunker sands were wet and hard. Good course for beginners. Hole #16(Par 5 ) narrow fairways and dogleg to the left and very high uphill green is challenging and fun.

Played Sunday morning tournament. Decent pratice range and can hit from thin grass and got two practice greens with bad condition for putting and chipping. Old run down club house - needs some attention like re-painting. Golf shop not attractive. Very old muni course. Fairways are very narrow except hole #12 & #13, or else you will be hitting many balls between trees or loose the balls in OB area. Greens were bumpy and getting no attention.or needs maintence even though they just aerated the greens but needs HELP!! Hope I don't have to play this course anymore.

Played Saturday afternoon. Were not able to begin the rounds on Reserved tee time - 40 minutes delay. From the first tee including our group, three groups waiting. On the fairway to green, two groups still playing. Yes Please expect to be on the course little over SIX hours to finish. No Marshalls at all. Some groups don't wave the groups at par 3 holes to keep the groups moving. With golf fee and cart fee = $51- $53 for the weekend, I will pay $60 to play at some place else with better pace of play.
