Walked in four hours today. Greens are in great shape. Very slick. You wanna be below the hole, not matter what. Fairways are avg. to below avg; along with the rough. This course is very rough around the edges. But, walkable, and the greens make up for the rest of shagginess (if that's a word:-)). $40 to walk is a little steep. It compares to San Clemente, and it's only $30 to walk.

I played today and the course is in pretty good condition. The greens are the best that it's been in at least a year! The round took almost 3 HOURS TO PLAY!!! The starter did us a favor and put us(twosome) in front of five walking women...Great move! We played 17 & 18 three times each and the group behind were nowhere to be seen...Overall, the course was not crowded and course conditions are par for a muni course.

Played late May. Course was ok, fairways were rough, greens decent. Got out in 3rd group in AM, only to find them packing in 9 holers when we made the turn.

Played late May. Course was ok, fairways were rough, greens decent. Got out in 3rd group in AM, only to find them packing in 9 holers when we made the turn.

Even though we were on the heels of the group ahead, they shoved in a 3-some of retired ladies. I went in the proshop and found out that nobody had teed off the front in 25 minutes, and there wasn't another group for 20. Yet still, they sent them off the back.

I won't be returning.

I pretty much echo what Gntloryntl had to say. I have been playing this course since the early 70's (I'm old) and the greens have never been better. 0 complaints here.

Not all the Fairways are in pristine conditon, but I had no bad lies.
Grass gets brown in hot weather. So what. A 3-1/2 hour round in
Southern Calif. even on a week day is unheard of these days but we did it.
The fringe around the greens is fluffy and very unforgiving. You gotta be committed or it will cost you.
All in all - A great day with some great guys. I may learn to like this game if I can learn how to play it.

The round today was great...Nobody was playing the course and we finished in 3 1/2 hours...I played with Flying Fossil(whom I met here) and we had a good time. The greens are in GREAT shape and the fairways are in decent shape. The rough is getting longer and course difficulty has gone up a notch in the past couple months. AGAIN, I CAN GET DISCOUNT CERTIFICATES FOR SOCAL. Flying Fossil knows the secret, so should you.

Some thin patches on the fairways but the rough and sand were good. $42.00 senior rate was well worth it.

I play this course almost every week, and since they punched the greens a few weeks ago, the course has only become better...You could see fairways carved out and they are letting the rough grow out, even around the teeboxes! The greens are fast and almost in spectacular comdition...Again, I highly suggest going out early(b4 8:30) to play a smooth-moving round.

Pace of play can be bad sometimes, but if you get out early, it shouldn't be a problem...The greens were punched recently(4/6), but they are recovering nicely...They are also defining the course by cu... Continue »

Pace of play can be bad sometimes, but if you get out early, it shouldn't be a problem...The greens were punched recently(4/6), but they are recovering nicely...They are also defining the course by cutting fairways and letting the rough grow...It should be a real challenge in a couple of months.
