Course looks good enough to play from web site photos, but pace of play is WAAAAY too slow: marshalls are rounding up electric carts that died, not keeping pace of play moving. Also, keeping cards off the very wide fairways slowed everyone all day. Friendly 19th hole.

Played here today for the first time. Actually a little disappointed, in a way. Overall great layout- several different ways to play different holes- Fun course. The greens were a bit bumpy mostly due to, what elese, people not fixing their ball marks. The fairways disappointed me overall- Looked at the pictures read the reviews, and just expected it to be a little more lush- several bare spots and yellowing of the grass was evident. Must be the time of the year I suppose- Very much playable, just not lush and no rough to speak of. But, as others have mentioned, the price for this kind of golf in this area is a big plus- Im sure Ill be back- I just will check the reviews a bit more closely before I go- Great course overall

Played Sunday afternoon, 12-30. The course was in fair shape, with a few bare spots, and the grass has a yellowish tint to it that makes it look stressed. The bunkers and greens seemed to be in decent shape. Pace was slow to start, but picked up after about the fourth hole.

Excellent course for the money. Have played here for many years and it's in the best condition it has ever been in. Well-maintained year round, with minimal seasonal disruptions.

Played Monday the 26th with an $18.00 coupon from an email blast. Place was empty when I arrived at 8am. We walked right on. Greens are in good shape. Fairways, too. Except for some bare areas (8th fairway was completely roped off; lots of fertilizer thrown down on bare spots). They've never been able to get that fairway to recover from a freeze last year. Some of the tee boxes were bare. On #8 and #7 the blue tees were up by the reds cuz the back of the box was ripped up. Again, none of these things were horrible, just not "perfect." The usual complaint about schizophrenic (sp) bunkers. Either hard pan or heavy, deep beach sand; no consistency. It's a great value. Conditions are always better than average and the staff is very accomodating. Wonderful place.

GPS on carts a big help as yardage markers not always easy to locate. Some teeboxes uneven so have to be aware if ball is above or below your feet. Only a couple cart path only holes - they make club selection guesswork if have to walk to opposite side and not sure distance to green. Overall, good day with discount price.

Played 11/12 - cart path only, which slowed the pace of play. Starter stated they were fertilizing the course. Many fairways had not been mowed for a couple of days. The speed of the greens varied, especially if downhill (very fast) or uphill (very slow). Pin placements were in tough spots today! Course has a lot of variety and local knowledge is needed, especially with elevation changes and the wind. I have played here many times over the years and the course condition keeps getting better and improvements continue to be made. Greens fees are going up $2 to $5 on 11/15. I always enjoy this southern OC track and will return again.
