Played in GK Tourney. Man this course is NICE!
Even after the rains we've had it drained pretty d%mn well.
I can't believe I shot a 94 on my first try here. Whoo Hoo!
I would highly recommend everyone try this course.
Oh yeah, pray for no wind though. It will affect your score.

As usual, this is a great place to play. Overseeding appears to have worked as the fairways are coming around nicely. Greens were great with not too many ball marks. Sand has gotten better in the last year, just hope you land in a good one. Overall a good time.

Played here on 5/19, started the round at 12 noon. The course was in outstanding condition, except for the traps. Had to go in 3 of them and I didn't even leave a footprint.....wow! Even better was the fact that the starter was bragging about how deep and soft the sand was (maybe he was thinking of another course he works at, I'm not too sure).
But the course itself is a nice course that is not difficult to play if you can hit the ball straight with any consistency. A word of caution if you play here, There are A LOT OF HOUSES on the course edges, crowding the course and more construction going on all around it. I have never played a course with this many homes on it.
Overall, the course was great, but the surroundings..... bleh.

Played on 4/15 @ 2:00pm. Course was in outstanding shape, good fairway's and great greens. Slow pace of play, but it was expected due to tee time. Overall this is the best course I've played for the money. They could charge double for what you get! Great scenery with the canyons, and an even greater course. Only downside was the bunkers. Some are good but most need to be re-sanded. It was like hitting out of a mud bog.

Played Willowick in the middle of the day on 3/3/07. Fairways were pretty much hard as a rock and definately in "winter condition". Sand traps were in great condition and you do not want to get into them. These might be some of the toughest bunkers in O.C. Greens were in pretty good shape, about half of them were a little bumpy, but (for the amount of play they get) hardly any ball marks.
The employees were friendly and courteous. This course was very enjoyable and I will definately be playing it again soon.

I first played this course on 2/11/07 in the rain at around 8:30am. Shot one of the better rounds of my life. The rain didn't seem to affect the course in any way. Solid playability, nicely paced greens and fairways.
I played the next sunday (2/18) and what a difference. It seems that the grounds crew waters some areas quite a bit, and other areas not at all. Some mud in the fairways, but all in all still a good course.

This course will really test your driving ability. Long, Long, Long. Try not to play it if it's over 95 degrees. You definately get your money's worth. Did I mention it's long?
