This course had to be one of the worst I've ever played in my entire life. The layout of this course is nice, it's challenging with narrow fairways and penalizing rough. These greens were sooo bad, i feel they were worse than the worst municipal course in all of California. They were probably 3" thick and riddiculously bumpy, i should've chipped all my putts to the holecup, then at least i know there is some consistency to the cup. The bunkers were hit or miss, it seems they're trying to put in new sand while others still had the old stuff that looked like tree bark/mulch.

The round took forever, about 5.5 hours on a monday. There was a group of 4 that didn't know how to play the game and took their jolly a$$ time playing; we've called the clubhouse; who sent the marshal; who didn't do anything. I should've fired warning shots.

To conclude this review, if you like greens slower than 5" carpet and having to wait 5 mins on everyshot because the marshal doesn't do anything, then this course is for you.

played today friday 4/26 and was disappointed. the course is not in good shape. they were overseeding the fairways and recently aerated the greens. i was in 2 bunkers and there was dirt not sand. so disappointing.. also many holes have parallel fairways so watch out for errant shots.. i'll give this course a while before i go back.

This is a great golf course. Very challenging for a mid to high HC like me. Fairways are narrow and it is easy to find trouble the driver.

I had more than one lost balls.
Greens are in good condition even when you can still see the reminders of a recent aereation job. Give it a couple weeks and they will be perfect.
I have to say I really enjoyed the challenge and I would love to play this course again.

Only complaint was how slow the pace was. i think there was a couple 5somes in front of us. Check the course out if you live around there.

not a course many people know about.....always in nice shape and pace is good. can be kinda pricey $80-90 on weekends.....but i grab last minute deals on days off. played couple of weeks ago for $37.00 with a cart on friday at 11AM. hit it straight, cool, fun and always seems to be a quick round 4 1/2 hours or less. great greens and fairways.

Played on 3/2, I was impressed w/ the conditions of the fairways. I have never seen them so green and lush; however, the tees were moved forward and the greens were slow. It felt like I was putting from fairway grass, although there were no bumps. The pace of play improved from a few months ago. The green fees that Westridge charges is almost beginning to sound reasonable now that the conditions improved.

Played Wednesday with GK member mcantos. The course is in fine shape, and the greens are as good as I can ever remember them being. Westridge is always a challenge, and the green fees are a little less than the other OC courses. The only bummer was that they had a dog tied to a tree behind the 18th green. I'm not sure what was up with that, but it seemed inhumane. There was actually a sign on the tree that said "FREE DROP AWAY FROM DOG".
