Very hard setup for the mid to high handicapper. Environmental areas (AKA penalty) on both sides of most fairways. Severe slopes in the fairways make it impossible to get a flat lie and even figure out where to aim. All that said the fairways and rough were in very good condition but the greens were awful. It was like playing on dirt (no grass on large portions of the greens) - very hard dirt made it almost impossible to hold long irons and woods, plus very sandy which made putting very slow. I don't think I've ever played on greens with the combination of firm, firm, firm and slow, slow, slow.

Played sunday april 30, the course layout was very nice. Fairways in very good condition. Tee boxes were nice as well. Greens were horrible. Millions of unrepaired ball marks. Some were old and some were new. Its not the management fault but players who neglect to repair their divot especially. This is only my complain about this course since pace and service were good.

The course is playing at its best condition in years....Finally, they are taking care of this quality course....The fairways were pretty good...tee boxes decent.....rough was light....which is nice to compensate the O.B..........the sand traps have just enough sand to play out of, however, they are starting to get thin.......We had a great day today playing at 9:30am on a Thursday. It took 4 1/2 hours......a little slow, but bearable. The only complaint I guess we had was that although the marshall was present, it did not seem like he pushed the groups ahead at all.....and if they cut the greens a little tighter/faster they would elevate this course to a top-notch facility/course!!!! Overall.....a solid "7.5"

The course is in the best condition in which I have ever played it. The greens have a little sand left in some spots, but they are rolling well and present a significant challenge. The fairways and tee boxes are better than ever. I have always liked the layout at Westridge, and Sunday was an exceptionally clear and beautiful day with the green hills and snow-covered mountains in the distance.
No yardage books available and no GPS. Only yardage to green center on sprinkler heads.
