To kborning; maybe you should keep to playing Dad Miller or Riverview.
To anyone who is thinking about playing this course, if the greens are in good condition, it's worth playing. Not so much worth the regular green fees, but fun layout and can be a challenge with tight fairways and some elevation changes. If you want some discount prices, go online and you can find them for about $15 off the green fees for this course.

If you like side hill lies and 5 hour plus rounds during the week... This is the course for you. The course was in good shape. I just did not like the layout. Every hole had a side hill lie for your second shot and good drives were punished with bad bounces. Also, pace of play was grueling.

Played sunday morning 7/26/06. Always when I play here I feel like very comfortable,cozy & warm. Totally different sensation when I played at Victoria 3 days ago.Now passed over hot summer, cooler temperature of fall help get better turf conditions .Very good to see general conditions of course getting better and better each time come here chasing the highest condition they used to have 3-4 years ago.
Greens ; All patches,bare spots & damages are gone.Especially # 13's green was like temporary green(maybe worse) but now completely cured & healthy like all others .But speed still desirable rolling slow than they appears and little bit hard to hold mid-short shots.
Fairways ; Lots of improvement with well grown turfs & hard to find bare spots. Little bit soggy causing tire marks.
Tee boxes ; Lots of divots.
After all was pleasant round with good weather.

Finally came back to Westridge after I heard (and read) that the course is coming back to playable conditions. The greens were a bit fuzzy but in decent condition … good to see. The fairways and rough, however, still have a ways to go … maybe by spring time. Teed off at 12:30 and only finished 16 holes.

PLAYED 11/16 TEED OFF AT 7:45. GREAT LAY OUT. SOME DRY SPOTS ON SOME FAIRWAYS. GREENS ARE IN GREAT SHAPE. GREAT FINISHING HOLE PAR 5 OVER WATER.

The course (especially the greens) was in the best condition I've played in a long time. The fairways and rough are still thin and patchy in spots, but everything seems to be moving in the right direction. Pace of play was surprisingly fast (under 4 1/2 hours) for late Sunday morning.

The only thing on the down side was that there was no cart girl, and they didn't sell beer at the snack bar (I had to go upstairs to the bar at the turn). No big deal.

Although some of the greens were being aerated, it was overall a very nice afternoon. I had great partners to play with

Played the course on Thursday 9/28. The greens were in decent shape. They looked to be ready to punch. After reading the comments I was worried but, the starter sadi they would be working on the greens this weekend (Friday - Sunday). Does not sound to smart but, maybe they know something we dont. How to make money.
Course was cool, but the outside services (snack bar/cart girl) were terrible. Pricing for a soda 1 dollar (ok) pricing for chips 1 dollar, pricing for a banana 1 dollar. The look on my face after giving a tip (priceless).
