I recently played the course and I would have to agree somewhat to the other comments below. The course is in fairly great shape which impressed me. The one thing that I did noticed is that it was very trouble some getting food at the turn. Apparently they closed down the snack bar and they don't run the beverage cart during the week. Thankfully it was only 85 degrees that day....
The course is nice, but it's not worth the money they charge. No snackbar, no beer girl, even La Mirada has that. I can agree with the others, bad decisions are being made there.

Wow! What a difference! I haven't played the course for a few months, but things have changed. I remember Westridge as a top OC course. When I went in late July I noticed the degrigation of the over all level of the course, dispite improvements like waterfall and range sodding. I found out that there has been a recent change in management. I came to Westridge to impress my collegue, but the reverse happened. I cannot go back there for work-related business, it no longer has that top-quality feel to it.

Used to be one of my favorite courses. I have not played here for over 7 months and wow was I surprised how much this course has deteriorated with the new owners. I have been coming to this course off and on since it first opened. I always considered this course as a "Premium Course" comparable to many of the better Orange Co. courses such as Coyote Hills or Black Gold, however its overall condition is no better than most Public Courses. In fact, after today, I think all of the Long Beach Courses or even nearby La Mirada is in much better shape and just as enjoyable. It is really obvious that Westridge management is really cutting corners to save money, i.e. the landscaping on the slopes btwn the holes and hillsides are all dried out, almost like a brush fire coming thru, the greens are very irregular and have several varieties of grass on them...same as the fairways. Even the bathrooms on the course and clubhouse are starting to look rundown. I do not think I will be coming back for a long time, I am sad to see what was once a wonderful well maintained course.

This course is in bad shape. I also have a problem with the fact that I am not of the right skin color to play there. Apparently if your Korean and talk to the owner he gives you a better rate. The twosome (who was Korean) that we played with told us that. They were great guys and even they said it was shaddy. I don't plan on going back there ever again. I can remember three years ago when that place was so much fun to be at. They had great parties and 50-60 player skin games. Not anymore... the new people have killed it!

I ve played this course a few times in the past. I have to say that it is in great shape. Fairways are lush, sandtaps are full greens are well kept. I really like the course because of its narrow fairways and blind shots. Its not the longest course I've ever played, but it still provides a challenge and plenty of fun due to its narrow design. As always the staff was very courteous and helpful.

Played this course for the first time in a while. The course is in much better shape then in the past, and the greens were decent (no evidence of sanding). I enjoy the course because it isn't that long (except for 17) but it is still challanging. There aren't many trees, but lots of enviornmental areas to get you into trouble.

The pro shop staff, as well as everyone else are very pleasant and easy to deal with. Need to go back more often.

Beware greens have been sanded again!! I played here 2 mos ago and they were sanded then as well??? It's pretty obvious why as they are rather hard and in need of softening up. The greens are still pretty fast in spite of all the sand. I'd give it another 2 - 3 weeks before they recover. Conditions are pretty favorable otherwise although it was rather wet last Friday do to a slight drizzle and they were watering several of the holes on the front 9 as we were playing through which was rather annoying. Rouch is not forgiving at all as it is rather long and you gotta hit it straight or you'll lose several balls. Still a great layout with some interesting and aesthetically pleasing holes. Finished in 4 hours on a Friday morning. I'd do it again after the greens recover.

It had been a few years since I had been here. I was very disappointed in the overall conditions. Greens were slow and full of ball marks. Fairways were in poor condition. The water hazards on #4 &16 were disgusting (nothing but pond scum). New owner does not seem willing to spend the money to keep the place up. Its a shame because this used to be a great place to play. I will not be back
