Played Westridge May 18. I found the course a good deal at $55.00. As stated previously, the greens are hard and fast, so it might take a couple rounds to dial this track in. I played the tips, and it still is not a terribly long track. Shot making is everything! Keep the ball in the fairways, and below the hole.
Tees, traps, fairways all in great shape. This course is very beautiful with nice views. I enjoyed myself quite a bit, and didn't play particularly well, so that says something right there.
Teed off at 11 as a twosome and finished before 3. It was a nice treat, and not terribly expensive to play this nice, challenging track, with very few other golfers around.
A solid 7, almost an 8! I'll be back.

No love on the course. Don't bring your Driver better to use irons as many of the tee shots and course plays short. Greens completely rock hard. hit the front and it will roll to the back. Course is very hilly. Only play is to keep ball down center. Trouble with little hilly knolls running along sides of fairway make it difficult to take short cuts or get better angle to greens.

Good Course, however they are getting rid of the GPS for the more typical style of yardage reading. Hopefully they drive the price down to compensate for not having the GPS. Difficulty comes in the li... Continue »

greens at this course is horrible!!! LA muni courses greens are much better. Westridge greens are very slow and has a lot of divots. This course should be much better since your paying a lot more.

Course was playing under punched greens and some fairways were punched as well. Fairways were ultra thin for some reason in spite of all the recent rains???? I was saying I'd rather hit out of the rough cuz the lies were fluffier. A decent layout w/some good views on a rather scorable course. Many holes were playing downwind AND downhill which shortened up the course distance. The front 9 does have a few holes where you hit directly into the wind though. A couple nice water "island" greens on the back too. I DO like the layout and the price was decent I just wish the fairways were a little plusher. Give the course a couple more weeks to grow in and the course will be a real treat. Round took under 4 hours.....I'll be back.

I 'm tired of these rains lately,this time also we coudn't finish the round cause of heavy rain(until 16th hole I was playing my best game). Played 12;45 sunday 2/20/05 decided same morning to play between the sun & rain. As always I love & enjoy this course.Just 1 green of back 9 was bad condition(punched & sanded) overall satisfied condition. Please ! No more rains.

Played this course yesterday. They continue to manicure this course. Tough winds, fairways getting lush from the rains. Sand traps okay. Greens very bumpy from ball divots. Fun tight course. When the greenskeeper finish with this course it should play like a 6.5 on up.

New greenskeeper has turned the course around 360 degrees. Every element of the course has improved 100%. Definitely worth playing and a great value for seniors also ($40) M-F.
