We were NOT extremely pleased with the conditions. Courteous staff and lots of effort on the course to get it back in shape. I didn’t expect much before playing based on the previous postings but I enjoyed the layout and at least they weren’t punching the greens like everyone else. I give Westridge another shot around the holidays. Hopefully it will be in better condition.

Played Westridge this weekend and was extremely pleased with the course conditions. We normally play golf at Shorecliffs in San Clemente and decided to drive a little further north.

Both Shorecliffs and Westridge are managed by Pacific Golf Enterprises and we heard that the super that turned Shorecliffs around was transfered to Westridge a couple of weeks ago.

The fairways seem to be dramatically improved and the greens have come a long way since the new super arrived.

It is nice to see that hard work and attention to details are not forgotten by some management companies. I look forward to playing Westridge again very soon.

Played Sun. 10-17. It looked like I was the only person who carried a divo repair tool. The course is under going a lot of repair work at the moment. Fairways that had large quilt like grass patches were abundant on the front nine. The course is a very interesting layout with the font side requiring accuracy or you're faced with a long walk down hillsides to the adjacent fairway. Red Dot coupon is worth the green fees.

What a shame! This course has a challenging lay out, but with all the patched fairways and divots on the greens and the six hour round (played Sunday, Oct 10), it's a very disappointing experience. They have a wonderful sign on the first tee... suggesting that anyone with a handicap index higher than 10 play off the white tees... unfortunately.. no one enforces it!

Played the course today (9/29) using Red Dot discount, so the cost was $27.50 each. At that, it was too expensive. Looks like the greenkeeper is on extended maternity leave or tomething. They are patching the fariways with sod, and there hasn't been a ball mark repaired in months. All in all, a most disappointing experience for a course with so much potential. It looked like American Golf took over management!

What a joke...palyed in a charity golf tournament on Sept.27 and the golf course was horrible...bad sod everywhere...too much water...unlevel tee boxes, no grass...every green looked like they are used for 100 yard practice shots, ball marks everywhere...typical new, higher priced course, rape the customer and cutback on the expenses...owner should be fired...check out the dirt on the driving range...if I had paid to play in this event, this feedback would be going to the owner...my advice, build more homes and close the course...

Played on September 12 at this course. In a club tournament with 24 players. Conditions on a scale of 1-10 a big fat 2. For the price of this course you were getting the minimal. Fairways were in poor condition, soggy and bare in many places. Greens were thin with many ball marks. This course needs a new greenskeeper if they want repeat customers. Needless to say we will not be holding another tournament at this course. I hope you read this before playing at this course. Rocsaw
