What a joke...palyed in a charity golf tournament on Sept.27 and the golf course was horrible...bad sod everywhere...too much water...unlevel tee boxes, no grass...every green looked like they are used for 100 yard practice shots, ball marks everywhere...typical new, higher priced course, rape the customer and cutback on the expenses...owner should be fired...check out the dirt on the driving range...if I had paid to play in this event, this feedback would be going to the owner...my advice, build more homes and close the course...

Played on September 12 at this course. In a club tournament with 24 players. Conditions on a scale of 1-10 a big fat 2. For the price of this course you were getting the minimal. Fairways were in poor condition, soggy and bare in many places. Greens were thin with many ball marks. This course needs a new greenskeeper if they want repeat customers. Needless to say we will not be holding another tournament at this course. I hope you read this before playing at this course. Rocsaw

Played 9/9 and the course is in awful shape. 60% of fairways are being repaired with strips of sod or have GUR boundaries. All of them have bare spots are are over watered. Running into standing water on a fairway at 10am with 100deg weather and no sprinklers running doesn't make sense. And it looks like there's a fungus attacking the greens. There were a ton of maintenance people running around, so hopefully the course will be back in shape within a few months. I won't be going back for at 3 months.

Played here on Sunday and course was in terrible shape. Fairways were really beat up...lots of dead spots and ground under repair. Tee box's were not much better tuff to find a good spot to tee off. Greens were full of ball marks. Water only at #6 and #13..and at 13 it was empty. Very slow play and did not see a Marshal all day.

Played this morning at 6:45. There was a twosome that teed off a just before us and they sucked and were slow. Then, a single cut infront of us and joined the sucky twosome and he sucked too. So now our threesome was constantly waiting for their threesome. Fortunately, the marshal was on top of things and told them to let us pass after 7 holes. I was impressed because the marshalls usually don't come out until quite a few groups have gone out. Major props to the marshall. The proshop staff is another thing. The head pro stood there counting money and didn't even acknowledge our presence for what seemed like an eternity. Aparently early morning golfers are not on the top of his priority list. Course in good shape. Greens had nice speed, but there were soooo many unrepaired ball marks, it was impossible to keep the putts online. There were also several holes that had fungus in the fairway and on the greens. For almost $60, totally unacceptable. I can go to Beaumont, pay the same thing, and be playing on of the top courses in SoCal. Course layout is interesting; requires good course management. What the course lacks in length, makes up for it with lush rough, and lots of elevation changes and it penalizes you for missing the fairways and greens. A lot of tough up-and-downs out there.

Great challenge for mid to low handicap golfers. The course is so difficult there are no back logs. Our Saturday 7am round played in 4 hours. One reason is you can drive the cart on all non-par 3 fairways, no matter how steep the fairways are.
The $80 non-member green fee is a little too steep. Leave the ridiculous high end green fees to the South Orange County Golf Courses.
