Not a lot to disagree with respect to the last couple reviews. I didn't find the fairways to be overly wet this morning, but agree I have seen them in better condition. I will give a little slack due to the time of year, and suspect that the course will improve as the fall weather nears.

Staff is always accomodating and allow early play as a single which is appreciated. Enjoy the course but wish it were a bit less expensive to play

Fairways - decent, some unmarked GUR, some overly watered patches, but mostly okay
Greens - average, hole 15 was the best conditioned green on the course
Bunkers - yeah, someone paid for some sand....well done, and thank you

Not as nice as it was last time I played there, luckily had my creek card, but not worth $80, sorry, but there are better options at that price.

T-Creek today with a 12:30 tee time, got a $60 rate, not bad. PoP excellent at 4:15 with minimal waiting (good marshaling). They had some rain the night before (thank you, Jesus!) so this might help some of the spotty areas that were begging for water. I missed a few fairways and found patchy rough through most of the course, especially on the front side. Fairways much better but surely not the best I've witnessed at the Creek. Greens were rolling okay, sort of medium speed-ish, with a few bumps here and there. Bunkers can be a bit heavy due to the rain, but the fairway bunker on #9 had lots o' quarter sized rocks so be careful. Like I said, the Creek is not the best I've played it currently so I'd only recommend it if you can get a deal.

Had an early afternoon tee time today at Tijeras Creek. It was my first time playing here and I absolutely loved the layout! Two very different nines that are both a lot of fun and require different styles of play. Tee Boxes- Some were level, some were not, it was kind of hit and miss. The same could be said of the amount of divot damage. It was aggravating to see some tee boxes full of divots and full containers of sand n seed next to them. Please fill in your divot with the sand, that's what it's there for. A few of tee boxes on the back nine were also punched. Fairways- Had quite a few areas that were just dead grass, a few fairways also had some new sod patchwork being done to them. Most of this was on the front nine, the back nine was in much better shape, very nice to hit off of. Rough- Was fantastic, thick and punishing. Bunkers- I was in only 1 and it was lone bunker that was wet and heavy, still got the club through with ease as there was plenty of sand. The rest of the bunkers looked like they had plenty of sand in them. Looked like pretty good quality sand as well. Greens- While not the worst conditioned part of the course, I was probably still disappointed the most with the greens. Lots of unrepaired divots, sections that I don't think were mowed correctly as there were areas on the greens where the grass was slightly longer than the rest of the green. Green speeds also varied from green to green and I am certain it had nothing to do any of the elevation changes. That being said, they still rolled very nicely for the most part and held their lines. Pace was about 4.5 hours, saw the cart girl a couple times. Thought I saw a marshal, but I wasn't sure. I don't think I would pay the full rate here with the conditions as they are now. It is still a very nice course with conditions that are far better than many other courses in the area, but I do have higher expectations for any course that charges a higher green fee. Because of this, I would say Tijeras Creek did not quite meet them this time, they were close and I will give them another chance.

Played 0756 Sat July 5th. The course was in good shape, the groundkeeper is keeping it watered nicely. There were a few brown patches, but overall fairways were in good shape. Bunkers were hit or miss. some had nice fluffy sand, others hard pan and soaked. Greens were very soft and rolling true. POP was 4 hrs flat.

The service was great and the 19th hole was very comfortable.

Recommend this track highly in its current condition!

Tijeras Creek is in the best condition I have seen in a long time. The greens for the most part have recovered from the recent punching and the fairways were fantastic. Only the greenside bunkers were an issue (Too wet and hard) Staff was great getting me out first off, played in just a little over 2 hours! Thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

Have always liked this course, very challenging. Customer service is always superb. My only beef is with the sand. Hard & rocky in a lot of places. The course is a little pricey but it is South OC. Worth a trip if you've never played it.

Snuck down behind the Orange curtain on Sunday to T-Creek for a early round from the tips w/da Boyz, fun time. They're always on time, marshal kept an eye out and he got us off the course in 4:20. Overseeded fairways provide great lies ... tee to green real nice with some thin bunkering to be aware of and soft greens that have some mark damage, mostly from poor repairs ... otherwise semi-quick but not overly so. Rough can be brutal if you venture away from your intended path. recommended.

Greens were recently verticut, in addition they had some bad areas, bumpy, not horrible though. Love the layout. POP wasn't too bad today for tijeras, probably about 4.5 hours.
