Played Friday 4/3 at 1130 and Sunday 4/5 at noon. Both rounds in about 4 1/2 hours. Greens still recovering from punching. Slow and bumpy. Tees were pretty shaggy too. Made a couple of birds but a lot of putts will jump off line. Service always great, cart guys, shop staff and marshal's were great. Will play here as much as I can.

I have to first state that the greens are still recovering from the recent punching and are probably 10 days or so away. That said, they were slow, bumpy, etc, but in all fairness the staff did advise... Continue »

I have to first state that the greens are still recovering from the recent punching and are probably 10 days or so away. That said, they were slow, bumpy, etc, but in all fairness the staff did advise BEFORE paying and even provided a discount in green fees. That's the way to do business. I'm sure in a couple of weeks the greens will be fine, there was lots of grass, they just needed to be rolled and cut! Otherwise the course wasin decent condition, not great, but very nice. The staff was as always terrific!

I played here last week and agree with the others. Excellent conditions, good pace of play, and now they know be by name because I play there so often. Overall, the best value around.

Played the Creek Sunday on GK recommendations and I gotta say the course is in excellent condition but I do have some concern about the putting surfaces ... a bit uneven here and there ... lots of unrepaired ball marks, some greens worse than others. We'll see how they react to the punching scheduled for this Tuesday. Good luck to those playing in the mid-am Monday.

Played at 1130 this morning in my weekly skins game. Played in about 41/2 hours. Thought the pace was great. Course is in fantastic shape. Greens were smooth, rough about 2-3 inches. Service great as always. Justin and Kevin out front are the best. Bag staff always asks if you want you clubs cleaned after the round.

Cart girl at least 4 times and BBQ grill working at the turn. Great burgers and dogs. Pretty much a perfect day.

We got out at 10 AM this morning. The cart guy was on me (in a nice way) the minute I took my clubs out of the car. He offered to take my clubs to a cart and he immediately checked on our tee time, prior to my partners arrival. EVERYONE was VERY nice and helpful there. I was truly impressed by thier customer service!! We were paired up with a couple of locals who had played the course a few times before. Our round took about 5 hours, but it was due more to mine and my partners inability to hit a REALLY nice shot then the course conditions, or slow play. This course is is really nice shape!! The back nine is WAY different from the front nine and I can easily see why so many SO CAL golfers lke to play here. Some of the vistas are picture post card quality!!

After our round we retired to the club house for a beer and the bar tenders were equally as nice as the rest of the staff. I am lookng forward to getting back out and playing this course again!!!

I really enjoy the layout of Tijeras Creek. Front nine runs through the houses but fairly open of the tee. The back nine runs along ridges and canyons with no houses. The back nine is tighter off the tee but fair. The fairways, rough, and tee boxes are in great shape. The greens are good but can be a little bumpy in some areas of the greens. Overall the greens role well but they are slower than they look. The bunkers are the only part of the course I don't particularly like. The sand quality is good but they are always overly wet around the greens. Nice practice area. Great customer service. Tijeras Creek is always worth playing.

Played today. Teed off at 1045 or so. Played in about 4 1/2 hours. Pace pretty quick on the front. Slowed down a bit on the back. Weather was perfect. Course was in good shape. Light sanding/top dressing on the greens. Did not affect lay. Greens held and were quicker than last week.

Since the overseeding it is great. Greens are quite quick, about 9 or 10.
