Played on Saturday morning, 7/14. The course had just aerated greens about 3 weeks ago and although they looked beautiful they were some of the slowest greens I have ever putted which made for a frustrating round. The rest of the course was in very nice condition and the layout is very challenging. Not sure it's worth the $75 green fee as there are some better values in the desert currently.

Played Fri. 6/15 @ 3pm. After finishing Players course, air temps were still under 100 so we signed up for Celebrity also. Noticed greens on Celebrity were much better than Players course so the overall playing condition for Celebrity was just great. However, reduced summer rates drop even further at 3pm so course was really full. We finished in about 4 1/2 hrs but seemed much longer and had to wait on almost every shot. If you can stand the heat, highly recommend.

Played today at 1130 two of us could not stay away from the $28 ezlinks greens fee. Simply great from tees to greens. Some tees are being aerated, but very useable, greens have been verticut a week ago and are now smooth, fast and firm. In a few traps today and all sand was great. What a layout. Good deals to be had at the moment; in fact you can 'walk the Wells' after 4pm for $25. Solid property all around. Pace was 4 hours, no waiting, good drinks cart attendance. Enjoy.

Played here on 4/21 Saturday with Paisano just before our outing at Eagle Falls. Had an acquaintance set the tee time up for us so we got to play it for $110 instead of the $179 peak rate. Conditioning was immaculate just like the player's course. This course does have little more bite to its nature. There are some blind shots and dog legs to mess with your mind. IMO, this course is little tougher than the player's course just because you can't see all the troubles from the tee and little local knowledge will definitely help you reduce strokes. More water came into play and approach shots were less forgiving. I think they got the name of the courses backward. Celebrity really should be called player's and vice versa since Celebrity course is more difficult and built for challenging layout while player's course is more of celebrity / resort friendly course. I like interesting layouts so I much prefer the Celebrity course to players even though I scored much better at the Player's course. Conditions are top notch, and layout is very good but not mind blowing. Its a course I wouldn't mind playing but won't make a separate trip just to come play like Oak Quarry, Sand Hollow, or Wolf Creek. Thanks Paisano for come picking me up for our round here.

This course looks like it has been manicured by someone with OCD. Tee boxes were pristine, fairways were amazing, and even the rough looked even and if cut by a hairstylist giving flattops. Greens were very very fast and has a bit more break than meets the eye. Course layout is very nice, and some course knowledge would come in great. Many times there are adjoining fairways, so your slice/hook may still find a fairway.
Customer Service is great. Meet you at your car to take your bag, then give you a pager to let you know when to leave the free range and proceed to the tee box. Would definitely play here again when there is a deal, as it can get pricey here.

Played the front 9 holes here on feb. 21. I did the "walk-the-wells" program listed on their website which is $25, after 3pm on the celebrity walking. Even for 9 holes, this was a deal you can't beat. I'm a walker/carrier at my home course so was happy to at least walk a few holes in my palm springs retreat after so many cart-rides. they also give you a stainless steel water bottle to keep and there are plenty of ice/water machines on the course to quench your thirst.

The clubhouse is quite far from the first tee so they were able to give me a lift up there, but as for the walk of the front 9, its really not that bad if you're an experienced walker.

From tee to green the course was in fantastic shape, and the layout is excellent. the greens were a little bit beat/ball-marked but for that late in the day i expected it. still rolled very nicely though.

other than that i really dont have any gripes. Finished the walk in 2 hours for the front (played alone), and could have been way faster but i had a group ahead of me hacking their way around. Was nice to take in the sights and surroundings however with the extra time i had to kill.

definitely will be back!

All staff and facilities are first class. Give it a go when you get a chance and need a treat.

Burning Tee Time on GolfNow for $88.00 each helped hack away some of the normal $150 rate. I thought with these prices this course would be pretty quiet but it was more crowded than Disnleyland! A 45 min frost delay really killed our 11:40 tee time and made the course not only super packed but also very tight for finishing. I recommend booking before 10 during the months where a frost delay is possible. The clubhouse and staff are really superb and unlike no other course I've played. The course was difficult in spots with some tight fairways but the green and bunkers left no surprises. Wedges would stick on the greens yet putts would roll right off them and bunker shots were light and fluffy. I would play here again but no where near close to a tee time the jeopardizes not finishing. I wish they would have emailed me there was a frost delay in the morning instead of emailing me three days before teeing off to remind me of my tee time.

Played both the Celebrity and Players course over the weekend. They had just punched the greens 2-3 weeks ago. the holes were filled with sand. they were recovering pretty nicely and are almost back to normal.

The fairways and rough were in very good condition. Overall the courses were great shape. Definitely worth the greens fee.
