Played on 6/5 on Summer special but the rates are still too high for this course. Fairways very wet in some spots, some greens had large bare spots, most bunkers were wet heavy sand and 1 was like hitting off the cart path. Moist of the ball washers were completely dry. At 1 point the marshall said the 2some behind us said we were slow and wanted to play thru even though the marshall agreed we were on pace and we were waiting on the group in front of us; I won't repeat our response to the marshall but we never saw him again. This could be a great course however the conditions right now are not good and not worth their $$$ green fees.

Played here on Memorial Day. Very short staffed. No balls on driving range and the range was full of locals hitting the free balls. The starter left to get more range balls so we just started when the tee was open. This round took 5 hours and 45 minutes. Cart girl came around twice the whole time we were there. We had a hot dog at the turn that looked like it was cooked last Memorial Day. The course was is very good shape although overwatered in many places. Sand was spotty but mostly dirt. I appreciate the fact that it was Memorial Day and everybody wants off to do something else, but if a course cannot provide at least a standard service, they should not ask the standard price. With all the people missing that take care of customers they did have the trusty club cleaning, "I work for tips", college kid parked at the 18th green to wipe your clubs down with his muddy rag...

Played 5/29/05 sunday.Fairways some holes are overwatered wet,some holes seems to be dry & short .Some gold tee boxes are beated up especially par 3. Now the major problem are greens; hard rock not very receptive(if you use 2 pieces ball --mmm), tricky(effect of mountain break? vary widely),many ball marks,& speed of each greens are widely different. All these factors makes your putt intimidating & frustrating.And these flying insects(I don't know what?) even attack your eyes.Much better robinson ranch golf club(valley course) that I played yesterday(being courses of same price range).Oh!! watch out with snakes that almost we tread on with our cart at cart path between 1st green to 2nd tee box. Just talking about the views one of the best.

I've only played this course once but it was very satisfying. I don't know why it's only rated a 6.9. The course is in excellent condition and has lush rolling fairways and undulating greens. There are some interesting holes with a lot of elevation changes and nice views. I remember that they water the the fairways like they were sponges though. My cousin was trying to come to a stop while turning and ended up doing a 450 degree rotation, much to the dismay of an elderly man we were playing with. Anyways, I would strongly recommend this course to anyone in the area.

Played on 5/25 and course was in very good condition. Gnats and flies are a bit distracting, but they are mostly in areas surrounded by dense foilage, most par 3 teeboxes. I love this course but they need to make a set of tees between the black tees (6930 yards) and the gold (6270 yards). All the course would have to do to accomplish this is make the gold tees play in place of the black on the following holes (#12-650yd par 5; #14-441yd par 4 all uphill; and #15-477yd par 4). Make the 12th play at about 550yds, the 14th at 380yds, and the 15th at 400yds. This very slight adjustment would give you a set of tees playing to 6692yds and if they played 2 holes on the front from the gold tees it could bring the total between 6500 - 6650yds which would be perfect for a low to mid handicap player that does not drive the ball 300+ yards. I spoke to the guy in the shop and he seemed receptive, maybe if enough players make the suggestion we can get this done. It is a real drag to be playing well just to have 3 ridiculously long holes ruin the round. I don't think the PGA tour has a 650 yard par 5 that is flat.
Anyway it was still a great day of golf, good conditions on the course and with the weather.

I've play Eagle Glen 5-15-05. The course is NOT worth the green fee. I paid $105 and expected an awesome course and was severly disappointed. There were 5 or 6 tee boxes that were damage with divots everywhere and one of the green had big bald spots of dirt. I would never play here again...even for $80 green fee with last minute tee time booking. I rather play oak valley, yucaipa valley or black gold. These courses beat Eagle Glen hands down. STAY AWAY FROM EAGLE GLEN...
