Played Saturday here and thought this course survived the rains very well. Yes, there are a couple of places where it is still wet, but overall, the greens are very nice. Everything about this place continues to be top notch for me. The staff, the service, the greens. But the thing that continues to puzzle me are the tees and fairways. The fairways are very puzzling and I cannot figure out why they are not as lush as they used to be. It's like hitting off hardpan and overall its very thin and spotty. And the tee boxes are a mystery as well. Some are good, some are awful. But I must give the maintenance crew alot of credit. They have really cleaned up a lot of the brush along some of the fairways, and the restoration of the original back tee on 18 is a plus too, although it's not open as of yet. Right now the rough is absolutely brutal. If your ball finds the rough, good luck finding it. All in all, I was glad to get out and play after all the wet weather. Finally!!

This is one of my local favorites. Good variety of holes. Greens are fair. Price is reasonable especially if you get the Golf Digest or Paul's Golf Destination 2 for 1 deal. It has one of the best practice areas in the region and is definetly a must-play in the Corona area. Recent rains closed the back for a short time, but the damage appears limited to cart path areas and did not damage the course.

Wow, played yesterday 1/30, and all I can say is you'd be hard pressed to find a prettier, more scenic round of golf. The weather was amazing, and with the vistas you hit from on many holes on this course, the views are incredible. The course itself is in fairly good condition for a premium expense facility. A few greens with a few too many unrepaired ball marks, but generally the greens ran quick, true and firm. I didn't make anything, but a couple of my playing partners made some absolute bombs from o/s the local area code. Fairways are in nice condition. Only negatives would be unlevel tee boxes and too much sand in some traps. Service is good, and lots of cart service. If you can play this course at a discount, its definetly a good value - at full price, i'd say it pricey relative to the competition.

When Eagle Glen opened it was one of my business partner and my favorite new spots in SoCal to play. We played last Saturday, and the course conditions were fair and it has come down a few rungs on the ladder from it's original condition and service, which was premier and now leave some thing to be desired.
It is still a beautiful lay out and a good place to play but, I would like to see it come back to it's full Troon potential .

The grees rolled fast and true but have many ball marks, more than I am used to seeing at Eagle Glen, but fewer than most courses. Great customer service.

I always love playing this course, however now would be the time to avoid it. I played 1/2/05 and it was in sad shape because of the rains and then it rained at the end of our round and all night. I would stay away for a few weeks unless I got the chance to play for free. I walked off of the course muddy and somewhat dissapointed with the course. It is understandable, with the course being in the canyon and all, that the rains would do a number on it, but it was bad. The fairways are muddy, wet and filled with divots, the tee boxes are uneven, at some times thin and muddy and the sand traps were completely unplayable, on a couple of occasions a decent hole was absolutely ruined by an errant shot ending up in a sand trap with no sand, ruts and muck. I would seriously consider taking an unplayable lie and removing my ball from the trap altogether if I were to play there again any time soon. Overall, I got a discounted rate and can't complain about that, the service is always nice and the views are incredible, even when it's raining.

Played here 12/17/04 after a fair absence. This is a great lay-out. The greens are smooth and fairly fast although they have been lightly sanded recently. The fairways are not pretty green, but the ball plays fair off all lies. This is a course I could play every week. Staff is friendly and they have a pretty nice practice area.

Great track, but conditions not that great right now. Fairways are brown and pretty hacked up. Tee boxes are either immaculate, or crappy. No rhyme or reason to it. Greens had a thin layer of sand on them, but didn't affect putts. Nobody was there. We kicked ourselves for not making an early morning tee time and doing there play all day for $60 offer. We probably could have played three rounds. Only saw four other groups on the course. Not worth $80, but plenty of discounts out there.
