The $39.00 early bird price is great. The tees were being overseeded today and all but the red tees were on the white tee box (could not play blue or black). This track is in good shape. The customer service was outstanding.

The track is getting in better shape, the only thing that was not better was the ball marks on the green (and that's not the clubs fault) Last week a $35.00 green fee brought out everyone and their mothers. But not everyone fixed their ball marks. Otherwise the place in great shape. As many practice balls as you can hit are included with your green fees at a outstanding practice facility. Please next time fix your ball mark, and one for your mother.

A nice place to play when the course conditions are not the top priority. The layout is a challenging par 74. Easy to get a tee time midweek.

Nice place to spend the day. Great desert conditions. There seemed to be two types of grass on the greens, one kinda fuzzy the other like a fine blue grass. Puts fine but looks funny. Only worth the drive if you are getting a free round for your birthday, or if your in the area already. Pace was very long for a sunday it was close to 5 plus hours.

Too much building construction going on. The course was great except the sand/rock/gravel traps. The greens were the best I've seen there in a long while. Still worth the drive out to Beaumont.

The greens have been left with many ball marks by players. Otherwise the course was in great shape. Fast round durring the week. The course offers a great yardage book (free) learn to use it and you will find a 2 club diffrence at times. The yardage book helps alot. Great people.

Wow ! this place is in great shape, not much traffic either. I got out at 9:45 this morning and only saw 3 other groups on the course, and left 3:45 min later. The greens were great, ball marks left by others were never found. The rates have droped to $48.00 weekday. Customer service was super. I cant say enough. The best day golfing I've had in a long time.

Airated 1 week ago, sand filled holes over the entire green (all 18). The fees have droped to $48.00 w/gps. Take extra balls the wild areas are so grown over that finding an errant shot is darn near impossible. Give the course a couple more weeks for the greens to heal.

If the wind is blowing a little near your home it will be howling at Oak Quarry. Driver carry of 200 yds one way and 56 degree wedge going 180 yds the other. The greens a little bumpy & very fast. Fairway in great shape. Look for the discount at www.golfq.com

What a diffrence a few weeks makes. The rough was just cut due to the rains but still thick and dangerous. It felt like US Open rough. Wide blade grasses that stopped your swing. There were two greens (2 & 10) with water on them from the natural drainage, but did not come into play with the pin locations. This place is in great shape. The pace of play was 3.5 hours. Take an extra club or 2 out of the rough until it is cut back down to normal.

The fairways are coming back to life, but still mostly brown. The fairways a re still very playable. The tee boxes are lush but seem to have developed uneven areas. The grees rolled fast and true but have many ball marks, more than I am used to seeing at Eagle Glen, but fewer than most courses. Great customer service.

If you rely on your putter to save your game, save your money. This course has the most unrepaired ball marks I have ever seen. The green speed varried from hole to hole and was difficult to judge speed all day. The tee boxes were a little fuzzy, but level and the fairways were nice. Golf extra rate of $23.00 was worth it but any more than that and I would have complained about the green conditions.
