Played here for the first in September after we'd had the rain storms. Other than some heavy footmarks on a the greens the course was in very good shape. Tees, fairways and rough all well maintained.
They have made very good use of the geographical features.

We played from the blues which put some of the par 5s within comfortable reach in two. Quite a few a the par 4s were only a lob wedge for second shot too. The 14th is obviously the standout par 3 but a couple of the others were good holes too.

Would certainly recommend a visit based on this round.

Played on 9/26 and will tell you the course is in as good condition as I have ever seen it. Been playing here since opening, and from tee to green the place is in excellent condition. The bunkers could be better, but still they have sand and a good shot will get good results. On smog free days this place is spectacular, bright blue sky and granite outcropping make for some scenic golf. The course layout is fair and if playing the correct teeboxes it will give you all you want. The breeze usually picks up around 11:00am, but with the course protected it doesn't cause too much havoc, except for the last 3 or 4 holes which are the most exposed of the 18. Very good course, good customer care, and in pristine condition right now. Play before the planned overseeding and aeration to enjoy this course at its best,

Oak Quarry is a very well maintained course, with spectacular views. It's not a very difficult course, but it does require precision and accuracy. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience, and recommend this course for all skill levels.

Greens were a little rough, some ball marks, but Almost every cup showed damage from people stick their putters where they dont belong. Unfortunate but minor.

Played Thursday pm. There weren't many people out there in the afternoon, which was great for us. Our foursome let a couple twosomes by, but didn't have any pressure throughout the rest of the round.

The course is very nice except for the greens. What a shame! Shame on the course management, and shame on the players that leave it in such bad shape. It is a futile attempt at this point to fix your ball mark and five or ten others, because it would be a drop in the bucket. There must have been two hundred on every green! Just putt and hope is all you could do.
I actually scored pretty good despite the ranting about the putting surface (cannot justify calling them a green anymore). Shot a 78 from the blue tees. It is a great scenic course and worth playing one time just to see every hole, But I will not be in any hurry to play it again.

This is a great course! All of the staff is helpful and polite, very forgiving from the whites but can play long and challenging from the back tees, awesome course if you can afford it.
