played Sunday 3/13 at noon and it was very slow (5hr 45min round) but al least marshall came around periodically and told us there were no gaps. Course in good shape after all the rain except the greens which were very bumpy and lots of ball and shoe marks which made the slow greens even worse. The bunkers are more a dirt mixture than sand. Even with the negatives it is still a fun course especially the back 9 and their new mid-morning rate (10:30) makes it a good value.

Played here 2/26/05. Rains had slowed play throughout the region, resulting in exceptionally nice fairways. Greens were pretty, but soft and medium slow - becoming bumpy due to foot traffic. This is a nice lay-out, a nice facility and very nice staff.

You have a good review of this course. The layout after the first few holes is very interesting. Staff was friendly and helpful. The greens ruined an otherwise satisfactory golf outing. They were very soft and slow. The combination makes for a very poor putting surface. If they fix the greens, I would love to play this course again.

Definitely worth the 1 hour 15 minute drive! I rank it a solid "9" plus right up there with Tierra Rejada in Moorpark. A beautiful course.

Great day for golf. Fun Course w/ great scenery. The fairways will be in great shape in two or so weeks. Need time to grow out for lushness. Greens were fast and challenging. Sand traps were fluffy. Great customer service. $80 for holiday is a bit pricey for me but during the week $55 is a great deal. Looking foward in going back.
